Yes, you can bring your own decorator to Moongate Events Venue. Moongate has in-house decoration services available, but it is not a locked-vendor estate — external decorators, including Panigrahana, can be brought in and the venue's events team coordinates professionally with them on access, setup timing, and space-specific logistics. For a 10-acre purpose-built estate with five distinct event spaces, a lake on one side, and a hill on the other, that freedom matters more than at almost any banquet hall in Bangalore.
The System Explained
Most large venues — Moongate included — maintain an in-house or recommended decor option for sound commercial reasons. It guarantees the venue a reliable execution partner who knows the property, and it usually carries a margin for the venue, baked into the package prices quoted to you. Neither fact makes panel decor bad; it makes panel decor standardised. The packages are engineered to be repeatable across dozens of weddings a season at the same five spaces, which is exactly why this season's Pavilion Lawn reception can look uncannily like last season's.
The other half of the standard model: couples can usually bring an outside decorator subject to a coordination step — sharing production plans, confirming any refundable deposit, and agreeing setup windows. The venue's events team then works with whichever decorator you choose; their job is a smooth event, not policing creativity. At Moongate this pathway is explicitly open, and because the estate was purpose-built for events, its service routes, power infrastructure, and vendor logistics are among the easiest in Bangalore to produce on.
The Alternative to the Package
Site-specific design, not slot-filling. Panigrahana is founded and led by an architect, and Moongate is the kind of property our design process was built for. The lake at Lacu wants reflection-led lighting that doubles every element in the water. Sonne's east-facing elevation wants a morning muhurtham designed around sunrise light. The Opa Hall's 10,000 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft stage want genuine vertical design, not a wide backdrop. Every Moongate wedding we produce is designed from the site outward — original, unrepeated, and impossible to confuse with a package.
In-house production at estate scale. A five-space, 2,000-guest property punishes subcontracted decor crews — sequencing failures show up as a half-built lawn at guest arrival. Our fabrication, floral, and lighting teams are our own, run on our own production schedule, with a single point of accountability: us.
Zero coordination burden on you. We share plans with Moongate's events team, confirm terms and deposits, schedule the builds, and manage teardown. We also know the estate's natural aesthetic well enough to advise honestly — our own venue guide tells couples to discuss decor vision with us before booking, because some visions suit this lake-and-hill setting better than others.
