Fort View Lawn — up to 500 guests
The resort's principal outdoor space, a level, generously scaled lawn with an unobstructed view of the water and the silhouette of Bekal Fort on the horizon. This is where the main wedding ceremony, reception or sangeet happens. A west-facing mandap here catches the late-afternoon light over the water — the single most photographed setup at the resort — with the coconut grove framing the space to either side. For a buyout wedding, the Fort View Lawn anchors the biggest function of the weekend.
Backwater Terrace — up to 300 guests
A waterfront terrace directly over the Kavvayi backwaters, and the natural home for the cocktail hour, the mehendi afternoon or a sundowner dinner. The reflections off the water at dusk do most of the decorative work here; we typically add only floating lamps and low florals. It is among the most beautiful pre-wedding-function settings available at any Kerala property.
Pool Deck — up to 200 guests
The deck around the infinity pool, where the water appears to merge with the backwaters and the sky beyond. Ideal for the welcome dinner on arrival night, a morning haldi, or the bridal brunch the day after — one of the most relaxed and naturally beautiful spaces on the property, and an unforgettable cocktail-hour backdrop.
Beach Pavilion — up to 150 guests
A beachside structure for intimate ceremonies and family rituals — smaller muhurtams, engagement exchanges and traditional functions that benefit from a contained, sacred-feeling space with the sea just beyond. It is also the setting for a sunset beach ceremony or cocktail hour if you want one function that belongs entirely to the Arabian Sea.
