Panigrahana Weddings holds 4.8 out of 5 from 100 reviews on its Bangalore Google listing, checked on 27 September 2026. That is the only star average we quote anywhere on this site, because it is the only one published on a public listing that we can re-check and date.

We print the date beside the number for a reason. A rating is a moving figure: one wedding season adds a dozen reviews, a single difficult project moves the average, and a number copied onto a website in 2024 tells you nothing about the studio you would be hiring in 2027. You will not find a second, higher, unsourced number anywhere on this site. Ratings we cannot show you on a public page do not get published, and neither do satisfaction scores, internal survey results or on-time percentages. How do you verify the reviews on this page?

Every recording here is a person who was actually at the wedding, filmed at the venue or shortly afterwards and published with their permission. Nothing is scripted by us. There are 22 recordings on this page. Written reviews we do not reprint; we link to the platform where they were left.

The video sections below are the whole of our proof. Six are couple reviews published on our own YouTube channel, filmed after weddings at Moongate, Kai by Happy Retreats, Fiesta Resort and Riva Beach Resort; the remaining sixteen are families, parents and guests recorded on phones at the celebrations themselves, by the people who were there. We have not re-cut them into a showreel and we have not written anyone’s lines. Where a clip could not be matched to a wedding we produced, or where the family did not want it public, it is simply not here.

Written reviews are treated differently and deliberately so. We do not copy a couple’s words onto our own page where nobody can check who wrote them, whether the account exists, or what the reply said. We link to the source instead, so you read the review in the place it was left, next to every other review that couple could see, including the critical ones. That is also why there is no scrolling wall of anonymous one-line praise on this page: anonymous praise is the easiest thing in this industry to manufacture, so it is worth nothing to you as evidence.

The same standard applies to the weddings themselves. What we show in our work and in real weddings is work this studio designed and produced, not mood boards borrowed from elsewhere, and what we promise against what we build sets out how a design brief becomes the thing that is standing on the day.

How many weddings has Panigrahana planned, and since when?

We have designed and produced more than 500 weddings since 2018, roughly 300 of them for couples and families living abroad, across 12 countries. The studio is an in-house team, works with 128 or more venue partners, and is operated by Wedvitez Planners Private Limited.

Scale matters less than where that experience is concentrated. Today we plan weddings in Bangalore and the Karnataka drive-out belt — Coorg, Mysore, Chikmagalur, Hampi — along with Goa and Kerala. Those are the regions where we hold the venue relationships, keep the production crews and know which lawn floods in which week, and they are the only regions we take on. A planner who claims every city in the country usually means they will book a local team and forward the invoice.

Two of those rows are worth more than the rest. The zero-commission line means a venue or vendor quote reaches you at the number they gave us, which is the single fact we would most want you to test with any planner you are considering, ours included. And the 300 weddings planned from abroad are why the Planning from abroad pages exist at all: half of this studio’s working week runs on somebody else’s time zone.

What do Google and the other listings show?

Google carries the only published star average we quote: 4.8 out of 5 from 100 reviews on 27 September 2026. We also keep public profiles on WedMeGood, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, and we link to each one rather than reprint what couples wrote there.

Read them the way you would read reviews of anything expensive. Sort by most recent rather than most helpful, because a planner’s team turns over and a review from four years ago describes a different studio. Look for reviews that mention the specific thing you are worried about — a venue you are considering, a monsoon date, a family spread across three countries — rather than counting stars. And read the one-star reviews properly, including the reply, because how a company answers a complaint in public tells you more than fifty compliments do.

Why is there no Review or AggregateRating markup on this page?

Because a business marking up its own star average is not independent proof of anything, and search engines treat self-serving review markup differently from a public listing. The rating here is plain text with the date we checked it, so you can go and check it yourself.

It is a small thing that tells you something about how we work. It would be trivial to wrap the 4.8 in structured data, harvest a star rating into search results and let it sit there unchanged for three years. Plenty of wedding sites do. We would rather the number stayed where it can be audited, next to a date and a link to the listing that produced it, and where a reader who thinks it looks too good can spend ninety seconds proving us wrong. The same principle governs the figures in the table above, and it is why the facts page lists what we will not claim as carefully as what we will.

If you are comparing studios, this is a useful test to run on all of them. Ask where a headline rating comes from, on what date, and on which public listing. A planner who cannot answer that in one sentence is quoting a number they made up.

How do we speak to a past Panigrahana couple?

Ask us. Tell us the city, the season and roughly the scale of your wedding and we will introduce you to a couple whose wedding was closest to yours, once they have agreed. We never publish anyone’s contact details and we ask before every introduction.

The introduction is worth more when it is matched rather than random. A couple who ran 800 guests through a Bangalore convention venue in December has very little to tell you about an intimate Kerala backwater wedding in August, and the reverse is just as true. So we ask for your city, your date, your guest count and the functions you have in mind first, then we go to a couple whose wedding actually resembles it. Most introductions happen over WhatsApp or a call, and you talk to them without us on the line.

Ask them the uncomfortable questions, because that is the entire point of the call. What went wrong, and who noticed first. What the final invoice looked like against the first estimate. Who was physically present on the wedding morning. Whether they would use the same studio again for a sibling’s wedding.
