Planning the Weekend

• Friday evening (Sangeet): On the infinity pool terrace, with the valley lights twinkling below. Custom LED installations by our decor team framed the pool with a canopy of warm lights. 120 guests. Dancing until midnight.
• Saturday morning (Haldi & Mehndi): On the fairway lawn at 7am, with the mist still rising from the valley. Both families gathered in white and yellow. The golf course provided a living backdrop no set designer could replicate.
• Saturday evening (Wedding & Reception): Ceremony at 5pm on the resort's main lawn, facing the 18th fairway. Reception under open sky as the Nandi Hills darkened. Full lighting design by Panigrahana — 3,000 micro-lights suspended between custom copper poles.

The Decor: Copper, Ivory, and Living Greens

For a property this naturally dramatic, our design philosophy was restraint with impact. We worked with a palette of copper, ivory, and deep forest green — pulling colours directly from the landscape. The mandap was a four-pillar copper structure with cascading white orchids and tuberose garlands. Table centrepieces used moss balls, copper vessels, and garden roses sourced from the Nandi Hills farms nearby.

"It looked like it grew out of the ground," said one of the couple's aunts. That was precisely the intention.
