300+ of our 500+ weddings have been for NRI families. We understand what it means to plan from 12 time zones away, manage families in multiple countries, and create a celebration that honours both the India you came from and the life you've built abroad.
For NRI couples, the safest way to plan an Indian or destination wedding from abroad is a design-build studio that designs your wedding and builds it in-house — not a planner who outsources to a local DMC. Panigrahana is architect-led: you approve a true-to-scale 3D render before you commit, watch it built each week on video, decide on your own timezone across one curated India trip, and the same in-house team flies out to build it.
For families paying from abroad: you contract with Wedvitez Planners Private Limited, a GST-registered company, on milestone INR/USD payments (e.g. 25/50/25), with one named coordinator owning your account end to end. This is packaged as our named product, Panigrahana Remote.
You plan an Indian wedding from abroad by appointing a planner who runs it entirely on your behalf — Panigrahana has done exactly this for 300+ NRI families across 12 countries, handling venue selection, virtual tours, vendor contracts, family coordination, and on-ground production while you stay involved by video and WhatsApp. Most wedding planners don't fully understand what NRI couples face. We do — because we've solved these problems for 300+ families.
When it's 10am in Bangalore, it's 9:30pm in San Francisco. Vendor calls, emergency decisions, and family updates have to fit around your work life, not just ours. Our team spans IST, GMT, and EST — someone is always reachable. For NRI couples planning in Goa, our Goa wedding cost guide covers every budget scenario; for Kerala, our Kerala wedding cost breakdown; for Bali, our Bali wedding cost breakdown.
Your parents are in Bangalore. Their parents are in London. Both have opinions, both have expectations, and both feel they can't be heard from 5,000 miles away. Family coordination is one of our most critical services.
How do you commit to a venue you've never stood in? We conduct live video walkthroughs — walking every space, pointing out lighting conditions at different times of day, and answering every question in real time. Over 100 couples have booked venues this way with full confidence.
Your guests are flying in from 8 countries. Flights, visas, accommodation, transfers, local SIMs, emergency contacts — coordinating an international guest list requires an operations team, not just a wedding planner. We handle it.
You're thinking in dollars or pounds. Vendors quote in rupees. And the exchange rate changes between deposit and final payment. We quote in your preferred currency, provide fixed-scope estimates, and absorb minor currency fluctuations — you're never caught out.
You want a wedding that feels genuinely Indian — not a Western event with a few marigolds. But you also don't want something your international friends won't understand or connect with. We design celebrations that honour cultural roots and speak to a global audience.
Every solution below is live practice, tested across 300+ NRI weddings. Not a promise — a system.
Every NRI wedding is assigned a senior producer whose primary role is remote client management. They have planned 20+ NRI weddings, understand cultural expectations, and are available across multiple time zones throughout your planning journey.
We conduct live walkthroughs of every shortlisted venue via WhatsApp or Zoom — walking every ceremony space, lawn, and ballroom. We assess natural light, highlight constraints, and show you the view at sunset. You see exactly what your guests will see.
All communication flows through a structured WhatsApp group (couple + planning team) and a shared Google document. No emails lost in folders. No decisions made without documentation. You always know exactly where your wedding stands.
Every message to your lead planner receives a substantive response within 2 hours (9am–9pm IST), regardless of time zones or Indian holidays. For urgent decisions, we respond within 2 hours. This commitment is written into our agreement.
We establish a separate communication structure for each family — keeping both informed, ensuring both feel heard, and mediating any differences with the tact that comes from 300+ NRI weddings of experience. You don't manage families. We do.
We provide complete budget transparency in your preferred currency. Line-item breakdowns, no hidden vendor markups, no surprises at settlement. Every invoice is explained before it's sent.
NRI couples choose different destinations for different reasons. Here is where 300+ of our NRI celebrations have taken place.

Every NRI couple faces a different set of constraints and aspirations. Here are four real planning journeys — condensed into a few lines, but each one representing a year of trust.
"We hadn't been to India in two years and were planning a 350-guest wedding at The Leela Palace from Melbourne. Panigrahana handled every meeting, every decision, every family call. We flew in 10 days before the wedding and found everything exactly as we'd imagined it — often better. The mandap alone made us cry when we first saw it."
"Our families are in different cities and we're based in Singapore. The three-way coordination could have been a disaster. Instead, Panigrahana kept everyone informed, kept us sane, and delivered a beach wedding on the Taj Exotica lawn that looked like a magazine editorial. Guests are still talking about it two years later."
"We wanted something that felt Indian but looked like nowhere in India — and we found it at BVLGARI Bali with Panigrahana. The Hindu ceremony on the clifftop at sunset, with marigolds and white orchids against the Indian Ocean — there's no photograph that does it justice. Our 60 guests flew in from 9 countries. Every single one said it was the best wedding they'd ever attended."
"We wanted a traditional Kerala wedding with all the rituals — Chenda Melam, Sadya, Kasavu, the whole ceremony — but at a venue that looked extraordinary. Taj Bekal was exactly that. Panigrahana understood both the traditional requirements and the visual ambition, and produced something that honoured our culture and our aesthetic in equal measure."
From first contact to final sendoff. This is how every Panigrahana NRI wedding is built.
A 45-minute video call with your lead planner. We learn about your vision, family dynamic, guest count, preferred destination, and timeline. We ask the questions most planners never ask. You leave with absolute clarity on whether Panigrahana is right for you.
A 20-page document covering your aesthetic direction, cultural traditions to be honoured, guest experience priorities, and budget allocation. This becomes the north star for every decision we make on your behalf for the next 12 months.
We shortlist 3–5 venues, conduct video walkthroughs of each, present a comparison document, and guide your decision. You commit to a venue with complete confidence — because you've seen everything, heard everything, and asked everything.
We curate and present a shortlist of vendors for every category — caterer, photographer, entertainment, florals, lighting — each with portfolio evidence and reference contacts from previous NRI clients. You approve every vendor before they're booked.
We establish communication structures with both families, hold family consultation calls, manage expectations, and ensure every family member's key priorities are understood and respected. You don't mediate family differences — we do.
Mood boards, 3D mandap renders, floral references, lighting plans, and table designs — all presented in a final design presentation. This is your wedding, visualised before anything is built. Changes are made here, not on the day.
Most NRI couples choose to visit once — 3–4 months before the wedding. In 2 days, we cover: decor mock-up review, catering tasting, key vendor meetings, venue walkthrough, and the final family gathering dinner. Everything is pre-arranged to the minute.
Our 30-person team is on the ground before dawn. Every vendor, every timeline, every detail is managed by us. You arrive to find everything ready. Your only job is to be present. The rest is ours.
From planning across time zones to legal registration — every resource for the overseas Indian couple planning their India wedding.
Tell us where you are, what you're dreaming of, and when. We'll take it from there — across every time zone, every family, every detail — until the day your wedding is everything you imagined.

“We engaged Panigrahana for our daughter’s marriage — supervision of four events over two days at Samaya in Bangalore. It was just amazing. The whole team were always punctual and quite professional. We have no hesitation in recommending them.”
“At 1 a.m. on the morning of our wedding it started pouring and our entire outdoor venue was destroyed. What followed felt nothing short of magic — our decorators worked through the night, rebuilding the mandap in a few hours. By sunrise it stood exactly as we had dreamed, if not more beautiful.”
“Their transparency with budgeting and documentation was impressive — no hidden costs, just clarity and integrity. If you want your wedding to be more than just an event, Panigrahana are the professionals to trust.”
