Where Nature and Love Intertwined
Rohith Hegde and Sindhu Bhat had one shared conviction: their wedding should feel like a return to something essential, not a departure from it. Both are avid trekkers and conservationists. They discovered Nature Knots in the Hesaraghatta Grass Farm area through a friend's Instagram story and booked it within 48 hours of their first visit.
"The resort breathes," says Sindhu. "The water features, the organic landscaping, the way the buildings are set into the terrain rather than imposed on it. It felt like somewhere that deserved a wedding."
About Nature Knots
A 6.5-acre eco-wedding resort in the Hesaraghatta Grass Farm area, North Bangalore. Philosophy: nature-first design, classical music inspiration. Seven event spaces — each named for a specific raaga. 40 rooms on-property including duplex bridal suites. Capacity 50–800 guests. Solar-powered, rainwater harvesting.
The Celebration
Welcome evening: Dinner by the natural water feature. Panigrahana arranged long tables with leaf-wrapped centrepieces — no cut flowers, no synthetic materials. Terracotta lamps on every surface.
Haldi morning: On the organic lawn at 7am. Family gathered around the couple. The resort's green surrounds were the only decoration needed.
Wedding: 4pm ceremony on the main sustainable event lawn. Mandap of living bamboo and jasmine — planted a week before and watered daily so it would bloom on the wedding day. 250 guests. Silence. A pair of kingfishers landed on a tree behind the couple during the vows. Keerthi's photographs captured everything.
Every plant used in the décor was replanted in the resort's garden after the wedding.
