When Intimate Design Met Heritage Beauty
Siddharth Varma and Kaveri Krishnaswamy are both senior product managers in tech. Their aesthetic: intimate, thoughtful, nothing generic. They wanted a venue that felt personal — not a convention centre. Prangana on Hesaraghatta Road, with its stone mandap beside a lotus pond and ancient trees, was exactly right.
About Prangana
A boutique heritage estate on Chimney Hills, Hesaraghatta Road, Chikkabanavara — a family home evolved into one of Bangalore's most unique intimate wedding venues. The signature Kalyani space features a stone mandap surrounded by lotus pond and amphitheatre. Deepasana offers a thatched-roof pavilion with green lawn. Swaraa provides an intimate nook for mehndi and milni. Capacity 250–300 guests.
Four Functions, One Vision
Mehndi: Moroccan-inspired — geometric lanterns, low seating, orange and gold floral backdrop.
Sangeet: The main hall transformed with a 24-metre projection-mapped backdrop showing their relationship story. 1,200 guests watched, danced, and photographed every moment.
Wedding: Outdoor ceremony in the garden courtyard. Minimalist mandap: brass, white floral cascades, and a 4-metre circular floral disc suspended above the sacred fire.
Reception: Full venue for dinner. 120 round tables, navy linen and gold accessories. A floral ceiling installation spanning 500 square metres above the dance floor.
