A Garden Wedding Hidden in Yelahanka
Nikhil Joshi and Pooja Shetty live in Yelahanka and spend all day in glass-and-steel offices. For their wedding, they wanted to be outside, surrounded by green, under open sky. Samavana in Yelahanka, opposite JB Kaval Tree Park, was the revelation they needed — and Panigrahana designed a wedding that made the garden and the trees the stars.
About Samavana
Samavana is a nature-inspired wedding venue in Jarakabande Kaval, Yelahanka, North Bangalore, seamlessly blending manicured gardens with elegant banquet spaces. Opposite JB Kaval Tree Park, the 30-room property creates a genuine retreat atmosphere. It is one of the few wedding venues in North Bangalore where the landscape is genuinely the main event.
A Wedding Designed Around Nature
Haldi: No artificial installation — marigold garlands strung between tree branches, brass lamps at each base. Sacred, natural, timeless.
Ceremony: Mandap in white and green — copper poles, cascading greenery, white orchids. At the heart of the main lawn. Incredibly peaceful and photogenic.
Reception: A 15-metre floral ceiling installation of eucalyptus, white roses, and soft ferns inside the banquet hall. Terracotta vessels, taper candles, and loose garden flowers on every table. "I've never felt a wedding where the design made me feel something," wrote one guest.
