The short version: Panigrahana Weddings is the consumer brand of Wedvitez Planners Private Limited, a Bengaluru-registered private limited company. The brand has operated since 2016, the company was incorporated in 2019, and both names refer to the same studio, the same founders and the same in-house team. Nothing was sold, merged or renamed to distance the business from its history.
Panigrahana is the Sanskrit name of the wedding ritual where the groom accepts the bride's hand. Our founder, architect Chaithanya Ganesha, chose it when the studio began designing weddings in 2016. It is the name couples know us by on WedMeGood, Google and Instagram.
Wedvitez Planners Private Limited is the registered company that operates the brand. When the studio incorporated in 2019, the legal entity took this name. Your invoice, your agreement, your GST line and the bank account you pay into all carry it, because that is how Indian company law works: money moves under the registered name, not the brand.
Plenty of businesses you already trust work the same way. The food-delivery app on your phone and the airline you last flew both bill under registered names most customers have never heard of. What matters is that the link between the two names is public and checkable, so we put it in the footer of every page on this site and on this page in detail.

Two things about how we work exist precisely so that promises cannot quietly slip: couples approve a 3D render of their key spaces before the wedding, so you sign off on what you will actually get, and we design and build in-house with one team, so there is no planner-versus-vendor finger-pointing if something needs correcting on the day.
