Do we need a music licence for a wedding in Goa?
Usually a sound NOC from the authorities, plus Novex and PPL licences for recorded music. For one two-day Goa wedding in November 2026 the sound NOC alone came to ₹55,000.

Is a Ganga Aarti possible at a Goa wedding?
Yes. There are no local Ganga Aarti teams in Goa, so the performers travel in: four is enough, six if you want it to feel grand.
What happens to an outdoor Bangalore wedding if it rains?
It moves to a backup that was planned in advance. For one November 2026 garden wedding, the haldi moved to a shaded gazebo and the varmala and wedding went under a German tent, with the call made three to four days out on the forecast.

Will the pandit explain the rituals in English?
He can, if you ask at the start. We shortlist pandits who explain each step in English and keep guests engaged, and we take the wording of any ritual cards to the pandit to check.

Do haldi and mehendi need two separate decor setups?
No. Keep the major structures (backdrop, entrance walkway, name board), change the content and colours, and add lighting for the second event.
How much does a guest bus cost for a Bangalore wedding?
In November 2026 a 45-seater bus was quoted at ₹24,000 for 8 hours or 80 km, and a 16-seater Urbania at ₹16,500 for 10 hours or 110 km.

What does a room at The St. Regis Goa cost on the AP plan?
About ₹65,000 to ₹85,000 per room per night on the AP plan, which covers the stay plus breakfast, lunch and dinner (founder-confirmed, November 2026). Hi-tea and starters are extra.

No. You pay the venue, rooms, food and artists directly, in their own name, and we take zero vendor commission. You pay us for planning and decor only.

Every week, on a video check-in at a time set for your time zone, with weekly updates and published meeting notes in your private portal between calls.

How the community works
Panigrahana Weddings runs the server, and says so in its rules. The rules are short:
- Be kind. Everyone here is planning something big for the first time.
- Keep phone numbers and personal details out of public channels.
- No selling or promotion.
- Answers are general guidance. A written quote needs a written scope for your wedding.
Discord is adding public web pages for large community servers. Once ours qualifies, messages in its public channels may appear on that page and in web search, so post as you would on a public forum.
