Venue Site Visit
We visit your venue with our production team. We measure ceiling heights, locate rigging points, assess natural light, and map out the spatial layout for each function. This informs the final design drawings.

Production & Fabrication
Our in-house team fabricates all structural elements at our Bangalore workshop — mandap frames, backdrop structures, custom furniture. Florals are sourced 48 hours before the event for maximum freshness.

A Bangalore reception built entirely from reused fabric

At Mukta Hall in Chamara Vajra we built a reception stage in the shape of a Hampi step well, because that is where the couple met. The surfaces are patchwork stitched from tailoring offcuts, old sarees and mill waste. The 7,400 flowers across the build are fabric, hand-stitched in our studio and filled with fabric waste.

That job only works with a workshop and a stitching team on payroll. There is no hire catalogue in Bangalore you can pull it from, which is the practical difference between a decor studio and a decor supplier.

Do wedding decorators in Bangalore reuse or rent the same decor for different weddings?

Many do — a lot of decorators rent frames and reassemble standard catalogue configurations, so a mandap may have appeared at several weddings before yours. Panigrahana works the opposite way. Every mandap, backdrop and installation is an original design, drawn from scratch and fabricated in our own Bangalore workshop by an in-house team. Nothing is rented, and every piece we have built is a one-off.

Can I book just the mandap or just the reception stage separately, and what does each cost?

Yes — decor can be scoped to a single element. A ceremony-only setup (mandap, aisle and entrance) starts around ₹1.5–3 lakh; a two-function package (ceremony plus reception) begins near ₹6–12 lakh; a full multi-day celebration runs ₹15–30 lakh. Should I use the venue's in-house decorator or bring my own decorator?

A venue's in-house team is convenient and knows the space, but usually works from a set catalogue shared across every wedding there. A design-led studio gives you an original concept built for your aesthetic rather than a repeat setup. Panigrahana designs and fabricates everything in-house and works within each venue's rigging and load-bearing specs, so you get bespoke decor without coordination risk. Many Bangalore hotels welcome outside decorators.

What is the difference between a wedding decorator and a wedding design studio in Bangalore?

A rental-led decorator works from a catalogue: the mandap frame, the backdrop and the props already exist and go out to several weddings in a season, and you choose from photographs of things already built. A design studio draws the wedding for your venue first — sketches, 2D CAD layouts and 3D renders you approve — and then builds it. Panigrahana is the second kind: architect-founded, with an in-house team, so the people who draw it are the people who build it.

What does wedding decoration cost in Bangalore?

Decor-only packages on this page start at ₹1.5–3 lakh for a ceremony-only setup covering mandap, aisle and entrance at 50-150 guests, ₹6–12 lakh for two functions at 100-200 guests, ₹15–30 lakh for a four-to-five function celebration at 150-300 guests, and ₹35–65 lakh for a grand five-to-six function celebration at 300-800 guests in a five-star venue. Is it worth paying more for an in-house decor studio?

An in-house studio typically costs 15-25% more than a marketplace vendor. What the difference buys is that the concept is drawn for your venue in your colours at your proportions, the same team builds it, and no part of it is a frame that appeared at another wedding that weekend. If your venue already does a lot of the visual work — a heritage courtyard, a well-designed ballroom — a catalogue setup can be the right call. If the space is plain or awkward, design is the thing that fixes it.

Can we bring an outside decorator into a Bangalore hotel?

Sometimes, and it is a contract question rather than a design one. Some venues permit outside decorators freely, some charge an outside-vendor fee, and some require their in-house team. Ask before you sign the venue contract, not after: whether outside decorators are allowed, what the fee is in rupees, what the load-in access and setup hours are, and what restrictions apply to rigging, power and open flame.

How far ahead should we book wedding decor in Bangalore?

Early enough that the design can be drawn rather than assembled. The work that makes an original build possible — measuring the space, drawing it, agreeing the flower spec, fabricating — happens in the months before the wedding, not the week of it. Booking well ahead also protects you on peak dates, when vendors are in demand and rental items are limited.

Do you design decor for functions other than the wedding ceremony?

Yes, and it is usually where the design has the most room. Haldi, mehendi, sangeet, the reception and the welcome dinner each get their own brief and their own art direction rather than the same scheme in a different colour.
