November to February is the comfortable window in Mysuru: cool, dry evenings for outdoor functions. Dasara fills the city's hotels and roads for ten days in September or October, so plan around the festival dates, and keep a covered space as the plan for the south-west monsoon, June to September (IMD).

The resort is at Gagenahalli near Bilikere, about 30 km west of Mysore Palace by hotel listings, and about an hour from Nagarhole and Bandipur. Guests flying in usually land at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru; from central Bangalore the expressway run to Mysuru takes roughly three hours, more at peak hours.
