A wedding at Beleza by the Beach, Goa: Shivani and Rohan

The haldi was set on a lawn with green fields beyond it. Two arched mustard panels with a tone-on-tone floral print stood beside an open white ring arch and tall columns of sunflowers and white flowers, and two gold scalloped tubs held yellow stools on a white floor printed with small yellow sprigs. Baskets and clay cups of marigold petals waited beside it, and the approach had crates of sunflowers and an orange retro TV-shaped flower stand.

The sangeet moved to a lawn near the beach. A canopy of hanging tassels, flower strings and embroidered umbrellas hung over a white stage of carved panels with three scalloped arches, backed by coral lattice prints and lit in orange. The couple's palm-tree monogram sat above a pink printed dance floor, and terracotta vases of orange gerberas and painted elephants dressed the tables.

The ceremony was set at the edge of the beach with the sea behind the mandap. A stone colonnade was lined with stands of pink, peach and white roses and hydrangeas, a floral arch between two palm trunks opened onto a white aisle edged with low flower runners, and the mandap had clear acrylic posts, a white fabric ceiling and a deep band of pink, peach and white flowers. Paper cones printed with the couple's monogram held red rose petals.

The reception sat on a lawn under the palms. Round tables in pink cloths had cane-back chairs and centrepieces of glass cylinders over taper candles, circled with white lilies, roses and hydrangea. A glossy white dance floor carried the couple's initials, and after dark festoon bulbs, paper lanterns and fairy-lit palm trunks lit the tables.
