Research methods and corrections

How our research is assembled
Panigrahana is a wedding planning and decor company. Our guides are practical editorial guidance, not independent market rankings. Company facts are owner-supplied; a portfolio photograph documents what it shows, not an entire project budget.
Define the records first
An executed project has an identifiable event and documented delivered scope. Enquiries, proposals and supplier quotations are separate record classes. Duplicate invoices, revisions and functions from the same project are linked to one internal project identifier; they are not counted as separate weddings. No record is included solely because it appears in a portfolio.
Compare like scopes
Before publishing a table, define its observation period, destination, functions, guest or room-night basis, tax treatment, exclusions and inclusion rules. Decor-only records cannot stand in for full wedding budgets. The company’s overall wedding count is not the sample size supporting a statistic.
Reconcile the money
Retain original estimate, contracted scope, separately approved changes and final comparable cost. Keep refundable deposits apart from spend. Use INR source values and identify tax basis. Any currency display needs direction, timestamp and fees stated separately. Do not silently inflation-adjust historical figures; publish the method if an adjustment is used.
Publish only with permission
Our editorial rule requires at least five comparable executed records before considering an aggregate cell, and still suppresses it if combinations identify a client. This is a privacy and editorial threshold, not a guarantee of representativeness. Publication requires permission for the disclosed scope, media and financial detail. Small or heterogeneous groups remain qualitative or consented individual cases.
Choose the statistic after examining the data
Every published cell must carry its sample size and period. State whether a value is a median, observed range or percentile and document the calculation. Incomplete totals must be excluded from full-budget comparisons. We do not currently publish an approved aggregate cost dataset or download of private records.
Keep dates distinct
Original publication, substantive editorial revision, supplier quotation validity and exchange-rate timestamp describe different things. A design or stylesheet update does not establish a new price or a newly verified project. Corrections are reviewed against the source before publication.

Send the page URL, the specific statement and a public source or a description of the supporting evidence. Do not email guest lists, passports or bank details. Venue representatives can identify their role and the exact event space concerned. We review the evidence before changing a published statement.
