Where Manicured Grounds Meet Sacred Vows
Deepak Srinivas and Nandita Krishnamurthy wanted open skies, green earth, and the setting sun as their backdrop. King's Meadows in Vidyaranyapura, near Sambharam College, was made for exactly this couple. During the site visit at golden hour, Nandita turned to Deepak and said: "This is the stage I want to dance my first dance on." It was decided.
About King's Meadows
A 5-acre outdoor resort venue in Vaderhalli, Vidyaranyapura, on Hesarghatta Main Road, North Bangalore. The Royal Theatre Banquet Hall (7,000 sq ft), sweeping manicured grounds, and 75 rooms for overnight guests provide an extraordinary stage for outdoor weddings. Capacity 2,200 guests. Just 23 km from KIA International Airport.
Three Days in Nature
Sangeet under the Stars: Panigrahana installed 200 pendant lights on the main meadow, bordered with fire torches. Nandita performed a ten-minute Bharatanatyam piece to open the evening. The silence before the applause was extraordinary.
Wedding ceremony: Outdoor mandap at 5:30pm on the central manicured ground. A 12-foot circular arch of white flowers behind the sacred fire. The evening sky over Vidyaranyapura silhouetted against amber. Photographs that look like paintings.
Reception: Dinner tables on the meadow under stars. The landscape did the work — Panigrahana's role was to accent, not compete, with nature.
