"We didn't want to drive to Race Course Road or MG Road for our wedding," says Sneha. "We wanted something here, in North Bangalore, that was actually extraordinary. The Leela delivered that."

A Four-Function Wedding at Leela Bhartiya
Rahul and Sneha hosted all four major functions at the property — haldi, mehndi, sangeet, and the wedding reception.
Haldi ceremony: Held in the hotel's garden courtyard in the morning. We created a marigold-and-sunflower installation — 2,000 blooms suspended from a bamboo frame over the haldi space. Bright, joyful, enormously photogenic.
Mehndi afternoon: In the pre-function area adjacent to the garden. Tables draped in saffron and terracotta linen, brass vessels with floating candles, live tabla music in the corner.
Sangeet: The grand ballroom was transformed — projection mapping on the ceiling walls created a moving tableau of Rahul and Sneha's shared story. 300 guests danced on a black-and-gold dance floor until 1am.
Wedding & Reception: Outdoor ceremony in the landscaped gardens, followed by a sit-down reception for 400 in the ballroom. Decor: deep burgundy and antique gold. Florals: 5,000 red roses, burgundy dahlias, and gold-dusted eucalyptus.

"The Leela's team and Panigrahana's team worked like one unit," says Rahul. "I genuinely could not tell who was from the hotel and who was from the planning team — they were that seamlessly integrated."
