Rohit Venkataraman and Kavitha Iyengar live in Yelahanka, and when it came to their wedding, they were determined to celebrate in a venue with genuine natural beauty. "We didn't want a concrete box," laughs Rohit. "We wanted somewhere that felt like a genuine escape — but still close to our family in North Bangalore."
The decision to host at Samaya on Hesaraghatta Main Road was inspired in every way. Within the areca plantation setting's garden halls and Kalasha Outdoors, Panigrahana created three days of celebrations that set a new standard for North Bangalore wedding design.

What Panigrahana Created
Haldi: We created a flower installation Kavitha had seen in her dreams — a 6-metre floral chandelier made from 3,000 sunflowers and marigolds, suspended above the haldi mandap. The bright yellow against Kavitha's pale yellow sari was pure visual joy.
Sangeet: The grand banquet was divided into two zones — a dining area with opulent table arrangements (gold charger plates, crystal candleholders, cascading floral centrepieces), and a performance space with a custom stage and dramatic lighting rig. The evening culminated in a surprise performance by a Bollywood playback singer Kavitha had admired for years.
Wedding: Outdoor ceremony on Samaya's main lawn at 6pm. We designed a mandap that blended Tamil Brahmin tradition with contemporary aesthetics — a traditional four-pillar structure, but with hanging crystal prisms that caught the evening light and scattered rainbows across the ceremony space. 500 guests watched in silence.
