The short, honest answer: mid-October to mid-March is Goa's sweet spot. The monsoon has cleared, skies are stable, evenings are pleasant, and outdoor ceremonies are genuinely low-risk.
Within that window, think in three shades. Peak (December–early January) is glorious weather and festive energy — book far ahead, as venues and flights move fast around the holidays. Shoulder (mid-October to November, and late February to mid-March) often gives you the same lovely conditions with more availability and calmer logistics — our quiet favourite for many couples. Warmer edges (late March onward) can still work beautifully with the right timing and shade planning, though we build the day around the heat rather than against it.
Two planning notes from experience: choose your date around the light — sunset ceremonies are magic here — and lock venues early for December, since it's the most contested month.
Outside the season we'd simply plan differently, with a real covered plan for the outdoors. Tell us your rough timeframe and we'll suggest the exact weeks that balance weather, availability and value.
