Kerala's Wedding Season
November to February is peak season — dry, pleasant (24-32°C), with golden light on the backwaters and the calmest seas at the beach venues. It's also when rates peak and signature venues run out of dates first. September-October and March are underrated shoulder months: mostly dry, greener after the rains, and open when the season is full. On price, expect around 5% off the venue line and nothing else. The saving is small; the real gain is that the property and the crew are yours alone that weekend. June to August is the southwest monsoon — Kerala receives it head-on. A monsoon wedding at a resort with strong covered spaces can be spectacularly atmospheric, but never plan an open-air backwater or clifftop ceremony in these months without a full indoor backup.
