This is probably the question we get asked most often at the paperwork stage, so here is the full answer from me directly.
Panigrahana is our brand. I named the studio after the wedding ritual when I started it in 2016, and it is the name you will find us under on WedMeGood, Google, Justdial and Instagram. Wedvitez Planners Private Limited is our registered company — when we incorporated in 2019, the legal entity took that name. Invoices, agreements, GST filings and bank payments all legally run under the registered company, which is why your paperwork says Wedvitez while everything else says Panigrahana.
Nothing was sold, merged or renamed. Same studio, same founders, same 30-person in-house team, and both names have coexisted publicly for years — the legal name sits in the footer of every page on this site.
If you would rather verify than take our word for it (and we would encourage exactly that): search "Wedvitez Planners Private Limited" on mca.gov.in, India's public company registry; read our reviews on platforms we cannot edit; or visit the studio in Malleswaram and meet the team who will build your wedding. The one-page version with every verification step lives at Panigrahana & Wedvitez: one studio, two names.
And if the two names on any document ever confuse you mid-planning, ask us to walk you through it on a call before you pay anything. A company that dodges paperwork questions does not deserve your wedding.
