Bangalore's Grandest Eco-Themed Wedding
When Ravi Patel and Sunita Desai combined their guest lists, they landed at 2,000 — after two rounds of cutting. Most venues cannot handle this scale with beauty. Panchavati Pavilion at the 25th km on Kanakapura Road, Kaggalipura was built precisely for it — and Panigrahana’s in-house team ran all four days of it.
About Panchavati Pavilion
One of South Bangalore's top eco-themed venues for very large-scale weddings. Capacity 4,000 guests across semi-open pavilions set in areca nut plantations and landscaped gardens. 24 luxury rooms for the wedding party. Eco-friendly, plastic-free policy. Located at the 25th km milestone, Kanakapura Road, Kaggalipura.
Four Days of Celebrations
Garba Night: 2,000 guests in chaniya choli and kurta, dancing under 10,000 lights with 15 decorated flower pillars defining the garba arena.
Haldi & Mehndi: Simultaneous parallel events — complete décor environments created in two halls at once.
Sangeet: A Bollywood tribute act, live dhol players, and DJ for 2,000 people — concert-scale production.
Wedding & Reception: Mixed Hindu-Gujarati ceremony followed by grand dinner. 200 tables. A floral installation visible from every corner of the hall. Flawlessly executed.
What this wedding teaches
Three things worth taking from a 2,000-guest, four-day wedding, for couples planning their own:
- At 2,000 guests the venue shortlist is capacity-first — Panchavati’s semi-open pavilions hold 4,000, which is why beauty survived the scale instead of being crushed by it.
- Scale is a staffing number before it is a decor number: this celebration ran on 45 Panigrahana team members across four days. Ask any venue-and-planner pair how many people will actually be on the ground.
- The guest list landed at 2,000 after two rounds of cutting — fix that number before anything else, because it silently decides the venue, the format and the budget.
