Panigrahana Weddings is an Indian wedding planner for Europe: an independent planning and design studio based in Bangalore that plans, designs and produces Indian weddings in Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and France. We shortlist venues against your guest count and ceremony format, run the Schengen visa timeline for guests, design and build the mandap and stage in-house, and agree the Indian menu, sound cut-off and vendor access with the venue before you sign.
What a Europe brief looks like
Guest count and where they fly from. The ceremony format — Hindu pheras, a Sikh anand karaj, a Christian or civil ceremony, or two. Whether the family wants a house or a hotel. The three or four dates that work for both families. From that we shortlist five venues, book site visits and put the venue's own rules — sound, kitchen, load-in, room block release — in writing before the contract.

How the studio works in Europe
Our founders are architects; every mandap, stage and installation is designed and built by our own team and shipped or fabricated locally. Florals and lighting are sourced in-country. Indian menus are produced by the hotel with a visiting chef, or by an approved caterer at a villa. Guest movement — airport meets, coaches from Milan, Athens or Lisbon, boats on Como and Venice — is run by our hospitality desk. The planning fee is quoted for the agreed scope with no vendor commissions; you pay vendors directly.
Timeline
Twelve to eighteen months out: venue and dates. Nine months: design, room block and the invitation with visa guidance. Six months: Schengen applications open. Three months: menu tasting, production drawings, sound permits. One month: the run-sheet, and our team on the ground a week before the first function.

How far ahead should we book a European wedding?
Twelve to eighteen months for a villa buyout on Lake Como, Amalfi or Santorini in May, June or September; nine to twelve months for a resort ballroom. Schengen applications for guests open six months before travel.
Do you handle the visas?
We run the guest visa timeline — the invitation letter, the venue's booking confirmation and the document checklist for each consulate — and coordinate with a visa agency. Guests lodge their own applications.
What does a European wedding cost with Panigrahana?
It depends on the venue, the guest count and how many functions travel. We quote the planning fee for the agreed scope; venue, kitchen and travel are contracted directly by you at the venue's published rates. Send dates and a guest count for a real range.
