A 3-day celebration with a rooftop sangeet against Bangalore's skyline — Conrad's contemporary elegance and 17,000 sq ft of event space made space for a tech-industry wedding that was as much about the experience as the ceremony.

Amar and Sunita's guest list was almost entirely drawn from Bangalore's tech sector — a community that has attended enough conventional hotel weddings to have strong opinions about what makes one different. Conrad Bengaluru's east-city location, within walking distance of many of their guests' offices, and its contemporary design sensibility made it the natural choice for a couple who wanted their wedding to feel like an extension of the city they had built their lives in.

Day One was a rooftop sangeet that used Conrad's uppermost terrace — with the Bangalore Ring Road and the city skyline as the backdrop. We installed a custom canopy structure of warm-toned LED strings across the rooftop at three different heights, creating a layered light environment that the city view strengthened rather than competed with. Three hundred guests danced on the roof until midnight.

The ceremony on Day Two was the emotional heart of the celebration — a traditional South Indian Hindu ceremony conducted with complete ritual integrity in Conrad's outdoor lawn. The contrast between the previous night's contemporary energy and the ceremony's rooted traditionalism was deliberate: Amar and Sunita are both people who belong to two worlds, and the wedding reflected that duality honestly.

The grand reception ballroom on Day Three was the production showcase — 17,000 square feet transformed over 48 hours. At midnight, as the celebration wound down, Sunita gathered the Panigrahana team and thanked each person individually. 'You made three different weddings in three days,' she said. 'Every one was ours.'
