A 400-guest palace wedding across two extraordinary days — 400 guests under The Leela's legendary sky, a chandelier installation of 2,000 white roses, and a dinner that lasted until 2am.

Vikram and Ananya flew from Singapore to marry in Bangalore, and their guests came from seven countries. The brief was unambiguous: the finest palace wedding Bangalore could produce, built around their family's South Indian traditions, delivered with the operational precision that NRI families require when coordinating international arrivals across multiple time zones.

The garden ceremony on Day One — 400 guests seated under the open Bangalore sky at The Leela's legendary lawns — used a mandap designed entirely around the property's existing mature trees. Every floral element grew outward from the trunk lines, rather than competing with them. The photographs of the ceremony, with the palace lit amber behind the mandap and the November sky above, are among the most circulated images from any Bangalore wedding that year.

The grand ballroom reception on Day Two required 36 hours of continuous production. Our installation team suspended 2,000 fresh white roses from the ballroom ceiling, creating a living canopy at precisely the eye-level height of guests rising from their seats. A 12-piece orchestra played through dinner; the dance floor did not empty until 2am.

Ananya later wrote to us that what she remembered most was a moment just before the ceremony began — standing in the bridal suite, looking out over the lawns filled with her guests from across the world, and realising that every single detail was exactly as she had imagined it. 'That moment of seeing it actually exist,' she wrote, 'is the most valuable thing you gave us.'
