Forty-six acres of coconut grove and private beachfront, used every inch of it — a mehendi in the Butterfly Garden, a sangeet in the coconut grove, a beachfront ceremony, and a 600-guest reception across five extraordinary days.

The Leela Goa's 46 acres offered our team more physical canvas than any Goa wedding we had produced before. Kartik and Manasi's brief was equally ambitious: five distinct events across five days, each with its own design identity, each using a different part of the property, each feeling like it could stand alone as a complete celebration. The production scale was significant — our largest Goa team of the season.

The mehendi in the Butterfly Garden on Day One used The Leela's most intimate space — a small garden enclosed by flowering hedges — transformed with low seat cushions, hand-blocked fabric canopies, and a jasmine-garland installation that turned the enclosed space into a sensory experience. Day Two's sangeet in the coconut grove was the tonal opposite: open, expansive, 300 lanterns suspended between the palms.

The beachfront ceremony on Day Three brought the full weight of 600 guests to The Leela's private shoreline. The mandap, designed as a triple-arched structure of white frangipani and palm fronds, read as a natural extension of the tropical landscape from the guests' perspective while functioning as a precisely engineered load-bearing structure beneath.

The grand lawn reception on Day Five — the final event — was the one that guests still discuss. A space of 600 that felt intimate. A dinner service that ran without visible effort. And at midnight, after the speeches, Kartik and Manasi danced on the beach with their families until the tide came in. 'That,' Manasi said later, 'is the memory I will carry for the rest of my life.'
