The WET pool deck at sunset, 120 guests in an intimate clifftop setting, a DJ set until 3am, and a mandap concept that fused modernist geometry with cascading marigolds — exactly the kind of wedding that gets photographed and remembered.

Tarun and Anushka are architects by training, and they brought an architect's vocabulary to their wedding brief: clean lines, considered proportions, a design language that feels contemporary without being cold. W Goa, with its bold geometry and rock-cliff setting above Vagator Beach, was the only venue in Goa that spoke their language.

The mandap design was the central creative challenge. Our studio developed a suspended geometric framework — three intersecting hexagonal planes in matte brass — from which we cascaded marigold and tuberose in a deliberately asymmetric pattern. The contrast between the industrial frame and the organic floral volume was the visual argument of the entire wedding.

The WET pool deck ceremony at sunset brought 120 guests to the edge of the Vagator cliff, with the Arabian Sea filling the horizon. Tarun later said it felt like marrying at the edge of the world. The DJ set that followed — beginning at the ceremony close and running until 3am — was calibrated to match the W's existing musical identity while integrating the couple's own musical history.

The wedding was photographed by three teams simultaneously: stills, film, and drone. The aerial footage of the pool deck ceremony — 120 guests arranged around the hexagonal mandap, the cliff edge 30 feet away, the ocean beyond — became the most-shared video clip from any Goa wedding in the first quarter of 2024.
