18,000 pink peonies cascading from the Ritz-Carlton ballroom ceiling — the most opulent space our studio has created in this property, still circulating on wedding blogs two years later.

Sandeep and Meghana had a specific priority that guided every decision: their guests' experience. They had attended too many weddings where the production looked spectacular in photographs but felt impersonal in reality — where guests were props rather than participants. The Ritz-Carlton was chosen because its service standard is the highest consistent guarantee of guest care available in Bangalore, not because of its photographs.

The ballroom design, paradoxically, was our most visually ambitious Ritz-Carlton production precisely because the venue could handle it. 18,000 fresh pink peonies, sourced from Holland and conditioned for 72 hours in the hotel's flower storage, were suspended from the ballroom ceiling on monofilament at varying heights — creating a canopy that moved slightly in the air conditioning and changed colour as guests moved beneath it.

The peonies arrived in Bangalore on a Thursday morning. By Friday evening they were fully open. The wedding was Saturday. Sunday morning, our team removed them before they began to turn. In that 36-hour window, the ballroom contained the most concentrated beauty our studio has ever created in a single space.

Two years after the wedding, the ballroom photographs still appear on wedding planning forums. Meghana told us recently that she still receives messages from people who want to know how it was done. 'I tell them Panigrahana did it,' she said, 'and that I had no idea it was going to look like that until I walked in.' That — the genuine surprise of the couple walking into their own wedding — is the thing we work hardest to protect.
