Your planner becomes your boots-on-the-ground representative — attending venue site visits with video call access, negotiating contracts on your behalf, managing local vendor relationships, and acting as your liaison with both families. Without a trusted local team, you are navigating a complex ecosystem blind.

Technology Stack for Remote Planning

• Video calls: All venue tours and vendor meetings should include a live video walkthrough — not just photos
• Shared project management: We use shared documents and project management tools to maintain real-time visibility into every planning thread
• WhatsApp groups: One group per functional area (decor, venue, catering, guest logistics) — with clear communication protocols to prevent chaos

The Visit Schedule

Plan for at least 2–3 trips to India during the planning process:
