Six Senses Samui sits on a sloping headland at the northern tip of Koh Samui, with Dining on the Hill as its main restaurant and Dining on the Rocks set on 10 terraced decks facing the Gulf of Thailand. Four Seasons Koh Samui puts all its villas on a hillside at the north-west corner, and Conrad Koh Samui is a hillside resort on the south-west tip. Ask each for its wedding venue list and capacities.
Which luxury Koh Samui resorts suit an Indian wedding?
On Koh Samui the luxury resorts differ mainly in how many guests they publish. Four Seasons Koh Samui lists its Main Beach for 200 at a banquet, Conrad Koh Samui lists its Upper Beach and its main pool for up to 150 each, and Six Senses Samui publishes wedding packages for up to 30. The Beach Reserve sits next to Drift at the Beach, which the resort describes as suited to group gatherings and celebrations.
Can we have a Hindu ceremony with a havan at Six Senses Samui?
Ask the resort first. Six Senses Samui's published ceremonies are a Thai Buddhist wedding led by five monks and a Western symbolic ceremony with a celebrant, which the resort marks non-legal and non-religious. Its pages say nothing about Hindu rites or a ceremonial fire, so ask the wedding team in writing whether a pandit, a mandap and a small havan are allowed, and where. We ran a full Telugu ceremony at Four Seasons Koh Samui in 2025.
Where can we hold the sangeet and mehendi at Six Senses Samui?
Six Senses Samui publishes no function-by-function chart, so ask which of its spaces can take a sangeet or mehendi: The Beach Reserve villa beside Drift at the Beach, which the resort calls perfect for group gatherings or celebrations, the beach club at Drift itself, and Dining on the Rocks, 10 terraced decks facing the Gulf of Thailand. Can Six Senses Samui serve Indian food at a wedding?
Its restaurants list Thai and international food: Dining on the Hill for Thai, regional and home-cooked style dishes, Dining on the Rocks for its own innovative menus, and in-villa dining with Thai and international favourites. Indian cooking is not on its pages, and the wedding team says its specialists suggest menus, so ask for an Indian menu and a tasting in writing, and ask whether an outside Indian caterer may work alongside its kitchen.

Fly to Bangkok, then take the 45-minute flight to Samui International Airport; the resort is a 15-minute drive away and, in May 2026, quoted a private transfer at THB 900 for a car of two or THB 1,500 for a minibus of six. When is the best time for a wedding at Six Senses Samui?
Avoid November and early December. Koh Samui sits in the Thai Meteorological Department's east-coast region, where the 1991 to 2020 normal rainfall is 361.4 mm in November and 296.0 mm in December, against 112.0 mm in January, and most December rain falls in the first half. Six Senses Samui is also pausing Dining on the Hill and its main pool from 7 October to 30 November 2026 for resort enhancement work.
Are there photos of Indian weddings at Six Senses Samui?
Not from us: Panigrahana has not yet planned a wedding at Six Senses Samui, so we have no photos of our own there. The resort's packages include a photographer, with three hours of photography in the Western package. Our nearest Koh Samui wedding story is at Four Seasons, 80 guests in March 2025, with the hillside pavilion and the beach.
