Seven hundred guests, Bangalore's largest hotel ballroom, and a 22,000 sq ft floral installation that took five days to build — our most ambitious single-space production ever.

Bharat and Deepti's families have combined social networks that span multiple generations across Delhi and Bangalore. Seven hundred guests was not an aspiration — it was an accounting. The venue decision was therefore a logistics problem first and an aesthetic problem second: which Bangalore venue could reliably serve 700 people dinner without a single visible operational crack? The answer was the Sheraton Grand Whitefield's convention-grade Grand Ballroom.

The production timeline was the longest in our studio's history: 5 consecutive days of installation, requiring a team of 140 people working in three shifts. The Grand Ballroom's 22,000 square feet were transformed completely — a floor-to-ceiling floral installation using 85,000 individual blooms, suspended across the full volume of the space in a design that referenced Mughal garden geometry at an architectural scale.

The decision to work at this scale came from a specific observation: at 700 guests, the room itself becomes the hospitality. When people cannot move easily between tables, the environment they are sitting inside is their entire experience of the wedding. The installation needed to be remarkable from every seated position, at every distance, in every light condition throughout the evening.

Deepti's first sight of the room — through the ballroom doors as they opened for the reception — produced a response her guests described afterward as the most genuinely unguarded expression of joy they had seen from her across the entire three-day celebration. 'I had seen the mood boards,' she said later. 'I had no idea it would look like that.'
