Start at the arrival point
A Kerala wedding venue can look clear in a photograph while leaving the guest journey unclear. Walk the route in the order a guest will use it. Start where the vehicle stops, continue to reception and the room, then move to the first function. Note where someone needs directions, assistance or somewhere to wait.

Separate the setting from the booking details
Kerala Tourism identifies Zuri Kumarakom as a resort beside Vembanad Lake. That explains the waterside setting; it does not establish which spaces or rooms are available for your dates. Ask the property for the current booking details and a plan marking the spaces assigned to each function.
Keep rooms and event attendance separate. A relative joining dinner may stay elsewhere; another guest may need a room for an additional night. Confirm room types and permitted occupancy with the hotel rather than turning a room total into an assumed guest capacity. Your rooming list and function count should each have a clear owner.
A special entrance still needs an ordinary alternative

Ask the venue and the relevant operator about availability, access and the conditions under which the proposed arrival can take place. Do not schedule a ceremony around an unconfirmed arrival idea.

Show the drop-off point and the nearest suitable seating in the layout. If there are steps or changes in level, have the property explain the practical alternative before approving the guest route.
Draw the fallback as carefully as the first choice
Ask which actual space can be used if the outdoor plan changes, whether it is reserved for your event and how the seating and decor fit there. A verbal mention of an indoor option leaves too much unanswered. Request a second layout showing the ceremony, guest seats, dining arrangement and service access.
The team needs a decision time as well as a place. Agree who speaks to the venue, who authorises a move and who tells the arriving suppliers. Let the installation team explain what can be relocated and what requires a different design. Avoid asking guests to solve a change of location through scattered family messages.
Keep hospitality visible in the design review
Look at where guests will find water, refreshments and help, and how they reach the next function. Keep the service route in the drawing alongside the floral features. A beautiful entrance loses its purpose if a queue blocks the passage immediately behind it. Ask for a view with the furniture and people’s routes shown together.
