About The Zuri Kumarakom Resort & Spa
The Zuri Kumarakom is the Kumarakom resort built for a residential wedding: 72 rooms, cottages and pool villas on Vembanad Lake, Front Lawns of about 10,000 sq ft for 250 seated or 650 standing, and a two-night full buyout for 150 to 180 guests that Kerala Tourism's register lists at ₹40 lakh with three buffet meals a day (checked 27 October 2026).
ITC Hotels says the resort, bought in 2026, reopens as an ITC Hotels luxury resort and spa by October to December 2026 (16 July 2026 release), so the name, rates and rules may change for 2027 dates. The renovation is the reason to book early: the first season under ITC will be in demand.
Our design approach is lake and lagoon: the mandap low on the Front Lawns facing the water, lamps along the lagoon edges, and the 1,800 sq ft banquet hall held as the rain plan.

Season and weather
December to February is the dry, calm window on Vembanad Lake and the dates that go first. October, November and March work with the German hangar on the Front Lawns. The south-west monsoon sets in over Kerala around 1 June and runs to September (IMD), so a monsoon wedding moves into the banquet hall and Bhairavi Poorvi.
