If your wedding decor is still unclear a month before the event, first record what is already booked, paid for, approved and still undecided. Ask the responsible team for one dated plan showing each function, its approved design, the remaining decisions and the person delivering it. A new inspiration board alone will not resolve an incomplete production plan.
Find the missing decisions before adding more ideas
Put the latest estimate, venue plan, reference photographs and messages together. Some apparent gaps may be decisions made in a family conversation that never reached the production team. Others may be items nobody has actually agreed to supply. Separate those two situations before you change the design.
Choose one family contact to consolidate feedback. The couple can still approve the important choices, but the team needs a clear answer when several relatives suggest different colours or stage arrangements. Record decisions in the shared planning record, with a date and the version being approved.

Ask for proof of the exact scope
A supplier’s strongest portfolio image may use a different room, larger structure or denser flowers. Ask which parts are included in your own estimate. If you cannot visit, arrange a video call that moves through the space and the plan together. Discuss the entrance, stage, seating and service routes rather than looking only at the backdrop.

Make the remaining time easier to manage
Agree a design decision date with the people doing the work. Keep later changes in a small list showing their effect on materials, cost and setup time. Ask the team to identify anything they cannot reliably deliver so you can approve a simpler option while there is still time.
If you are considering replacing a supplier, first get a clear account of what is already committed and what a replacement can actually take on. Avoid approving two overlapping scopes. The aim is a confirmed, deliverable wedding plan, with the last review happening before guests arrive.
