Wedding decoration services in Bangalore — and what sets the price
A wedding decoration quote in Bangalore is built from four things: the structures that get fabricated, the flowers that get bought fresh that week, the lighting and technical hire, and the crew days needed to build and strike. Nobody can publish a single price list because the first and last of those change with your venue. What an honest decorator can do is show you the line items, and quote your brief within a working day of seeing it.

What a decoration quote is actually made of

This is why two quotes for "the same" wedding can differ by a multiple. One may have priced a fabricated mandap and the other a rented one; one may have three crew days and the other one. Ask both to show the four blocks separately and the gap usually explains itself in a minute.
Flowers are the only block that genuinely cannot be fixed months ahead. They are bought at market rate in the week of the wedding. A decorator who quotes a flower line as immovable in July for a December wedding is either padding it or will be back to you later.

What to send us to get a price
Six lines is enough for a real quote
- The venue, or the two or three you are choosing between.
- The functions you want decorated, and the date of each.
- Guest count per function.
- Indoor, outdoor, or both — and whether there is a monsoon risk on the date.
- Three reference images of what you like, and one of what you do not.
- The number you would like the decor to land near, if you have one.
The last line is the one families hold back, on the theory that naming a number invites the quote to rise to it. In practice the opposite happens: without a number, a decorator designs to the references, and the references are almost always more expensive than the brief.
Comparing decoration quotes without getting caught
Ask every decorator you are comparing
- Is the mandap and stage fabricated for us, or rented and re-dressed?
- Which flowers are in the quote, at what volume, and what happens if the market moves?
- How many crew days are in the number, and when does the build start?
- Is lighting included, or is it a separate hire you will add later?
- Is GST shown separately, and is there a transport or site-protection line?
- Who from your team is on site during the build and during the function?
If a quote is a single figure with no breakdown, that is the finding. It is not necessarily dishonest, but it cannot be compared to anything and it cannot be trimmed without guessing.

What do wedding decoration services cost in Bangalore?
There is no single figure, because the largest variable is your venue rather than your taste. A ballroom with an existing rig and a low ceiling costs differently from an outdoor lawn where every light, every truss and every power run has to be brought in. Send us the venue and the functions and you get a scoped number, not a range.
Do you publish a price list for decoration?
No, and we would distrust one that existed. A published list can only be honest if it assumes a standard venue, a standard guest count and a standard flower market, and no wedding has all three. What we will give you is the four line items, so you can see where your money is going.
Can you work at a venue that has an empanelled decorator?
Sometimes. Several Bangalore hotels restrict outside decor or charge a royalty for it. This is worth checking before you sign the venue rather than after, because it can move your decor budget substantially. We will tell you what a venue's rules are when we know them.
Is decor cheaper if we reuse the setup across functions?
Usually yes, and it is the single most effective way to trim without the wedding looking thinner. Reusing a structure and re-flowering it between two functions saves the fabrication and much of the crew time. It only works if the functions are close enough in time and space, which is a run-sheet question.
Do you do small setups — haldi or mehendi at home?
Yes. Home functions are a normal part of the work, and they have their own constraints: lift access, floor protection, power, and neighbours. They are quoted the same way as anything else, by what gets built and how many crew days it takes.
How far in advance should we book decoration?
Design work benefits from lead time, but the binding constraint is usually the venue date and the crew's availability in peak season. For November to February, earlier is genuinely better. For an off-peak date, a couple of months is workable.
Is 18% GST extra on the decoration quote?
Tax is shown as its own line rather than absorbed, so you can see the pre-tax and post-tax figure. When you compare two quotes, check whether the other one is tax-inclusive, because that alone can make a cheaper quote look more expensive or the reverse.
Do you take commission from flower or lighting vendors?
No. This studio takes zero vendor commission across the board and clients pay third-party vendors directly. Our own design and production are supplied by our own crew, and are quoted as a product with a margin, which is a different thing from a hidden cut on somebody else's invoice.
