Designed, not just planned
How we would design a wedding at The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort Goa
The LaLiT is a low-rise resort spread across lawns, with the beach in front and a golf course beside it. Decor that fights that scale looks small; decor that uses it works. We would set the ceremony so the guests face the sea and the sun drops behind the mandap, keep structures open to the breeze, and light the paths between the suites, the garden and the beach because guests walk a long way here after dark. Braganza Hall is a conventional ballroom, so it needs a strong stage wall and a lighting plan more than it needs flowers. Because the listing says decorators come from the resort's panel, every design decision has to be agreed with the resort early.
