Indoors, Taj's own events factsheet puts the Sala Grande at 427 sq m, 190 at round tables and 400 standing, which makes it the rain plan and the sangeet room rather than the wedding room; the wedding itself lives on the lawns. The same factsheet charts the Beach Lawns at 3,716 sq m for 800 at round tables and 1,700 standing, and the Village Lawns at 500 and 1,200, figures WedMeGood repeats. The allocation for your date is still the first thing to put in writing.

How we would design a wedding at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa
The resort's own palette — white walls, terracotta, palms and lawn — is warm and low, and the sea is the picture. Mandaps and stages should stay open and horizontal, facing west for the light; heavy fabric structures fight the sea breeze and should be engineered, not improvised. Lighting after sunset is the design: lawns with no built edge need a lit path from ceremony to dinner. Indoors, the Sala Grande's 22 × 16 m rectangle takes a long stage wall and a lit ceiling well.

Season and weather
November to February is the dry, breezy window for the beach and village lawns; October and March work with shade and a later start. The southwest monsoon runs June to September, when the programme moves into the Sala Grande and rates soften. Christmas–New Year and the winter muhurtham dates go a year or more ahead.
Arrivals, access and logistics
Cvent lists the nearest airport at 27 km, which for Benaulim is Dabolim (GOI); Taj puts Dabolim at under an hour by car and Mopa (GOX), at the northern end of the state, at about an hour and a half. Vendors and late-night runs come from Margao. Confirm the 10 pm outdoor sound cut-off, beach-structure permissions and vendor gate hours before you sign.

Does Taj Exotica Goa have a ballroom for the rain plan?
