Designed, not just planned
How we would design a wedding at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa
The resort's own palette — white walls, terracotta, palms and lawn — is warm and low, and the sea is the picture. Mandaps and stages should stay open and horizontal, facing west for the light; heavy fabric structures fight the sea breeze and should be engineered, not improvised. Lighting after sunset is the design: lawns with no built edge need a lit path from ceremony to dinner. Indoors, the Sala Grande's rectangle takes a long stage wall and a lit ceiling well.

Season and weather
November to February is the dry, breezy window for the beach lawns; October and March work with shade. The monsoon (June to September) is indoor weather at Taj Exotica and the resort's rates soften. Christmas–New Year and the winter muhurtham dates go a year or more ahead.
Arrivals, access and logistics
Dabolim airport is about 27 km (Cvent); Mopa in North Goa is the long run and best avoided for guest flights. Benaulim is a quiet stretch — vendors, production and late-night moves come from Margao. Confirm the 10 pm outdoor sound cut-off, beach-structure permissions and vendor gate hours.
