For 500 guests or more, only The Leela Bhartiya City fits: its Grand Ballroom seats 780 at round tables, takes 1,400 at a reception and has 281 rooms above it. Hyatt Centric Hebbal suits a wedding of 400 seated or fewer, with 152 rooms and a lower listed veg plate, ₹2,500 against ₹3,000.

The Leela prints two maximums for its Grand Ballroom: 1,400 on the celebrations chart and 1,300 on the meetings page. Plan a reception to the lower one until the hotel confirms the other in writing.
The guest count settles most of this
Hyatt Centric's listed hall seats 400. A 300-guest seated dinner fits with room for a stage and a dance floor; a 500-guest reception is close to its 600 floating figure and will feel full. Beyond that, the hotel runs out of room before you run out of guests.
The Leela's Grand Ballroom divides into four. Its chart gives 500 at a reception in sections 1 and 2 and 850 in sections 3 and 4, so the mehendi can run in one half while the other is built for the wedding. The Royal Ballroom opens onto The Terrace, which gives a second, open-air evening without moving guests to another building.

The gap is smaller than the veg plates suggest. Hyatt Centric's listed non-veg plate, ₹3,650, is above The Leela's ₹3,500, so a mostly non-veg menu costs about the same at both. Both figures are entry menus; ask each hotel for its written wedding menus and the minimum plate count for your dates.
Rooms are priced differently. The Leela's listing offers a destination format at ₹25 lakh a day for 100 rooms, with three meals and the venue included. Hyatt Centric's listing gives ₹17,500 a room, which is ₹17.5 lakh a night for 100 rooms before any food.
Two policy lines that change the plan
The bar. Hyatt Centric Hebbal's listing says there is no in-house alcohol and that outside alcohol is not permitted. That is unusual for a full-service hotel, and it decides whether a cocktail evening or a sangeet with a bar can happen there at all. Ask the hotel directly and get the answer in writing. The Leela runs its own bar and does not allow outside alcohol.
The decor. The Leela permits outside decorators. Hyatt Centric's listing records in-house decor. If you want your own designer, ask Hyatt Centric what an outside team may build, the load-in hours and any fee before you hold a date.
Outdoors, the national rule stops loudspeakers at 10 pm; closed premises such as banquet halls are exempt. At The Leela that means a Terrace or lawn function should end its music by 10 pm, with the late dancing moved indoors.
