Panigrahana is a wedding planning and design studio in Bangalore. We plan and produce the whole wedding — venue, decor, florals, mandap and coordination — with an in-house design team. Nothing is subcontracted to a decorator, which is why the wedding that gets installed is the wedding you approved.
Panigrahana is a wedding planning and design studio based in Bangalore, founded in 2016. It plans and produces full-service weddings — venue selection, decor and floral production, mandap design, vendor management and on-day coordination — with an in-house design team rather than a subcontracted decorator. It is rated 4.8/5 across 79 Google reviews and 4.9/5 across 240+ WedMeGood reviews (100 on the Wedding Planners profile, 141 on the Decor profile), and works across Bangalore, Goa, Kerala and international destinations.
Wedding planners in Bangalore charge, with price ranges for 2026: ₹1.5–3 lakh for day-of coordination, ₹3–8 lakh for partial planning, and ₹8–25 lakh+ for full-service planning at a design-led studio. Panigrahana starts at ₹2 lakh and works on a flat fee agreed before anything is booked, rather than a percentage of your budget. A full Bangalore wedding, everything included, typically runs ₹30 lakh to ₹3 crore.
Fee bands from the Panigrahana Wedding Cost Index (Q3 2026). The planner's fee is separate from the wedding itself — catering in Bangalore runs ₹3,500–8,000 per plate, and decor ₹3–35 lakh depending on scale.
Most wedding planners in Bangalore are coordination firms. They manage a list of vendors, and the decor — the part you actually see — is subcontracted to whoever is available. The design you approved and the design that arrives are two different things, and by then it is your wedding day.
Panigrahana is structured to remove that gap. The same studio that plans your wedding also designs and produces the decor: the florals, the mandap, the stage, the lighting, the tablescapes. Six people from our design team work on a single wedding — florals, floral detail, AV, structures, and both founders on the overall vision. When the mandap is drawn to fit a specific ceiling height, it is our workshop that builds it to that drawing.
That is the whole proposition, and it is the honest reason to hire us rather than a cheaper coordinator: we are accountable for the thing you will remember.
Planners in Bangalore usually charge one of two ways: a percentage of your total wedding budget (commonly 8–12%), or a flat planning fee agreed up front.
We work on a flat fee, agreed before anything is booked. The reason is simple and slightly against our own interest: a percentage fee pays your planner more every time your wedding gets more expensive. A flat fee does not. When we tell you a venue is not worth the money, you can trust that we do not earn more if you ignore us.
For a full component-by-component breakdown — venue, catering, decor, photography, and where Bangalore weddings quietly go over — see the wedding planner cost in Bangalore guide, or run your own numbers in the wedding cost calculator. If you would rather just have the real figure for your date and guest count, ask us and we will send it.
Yes, comfortably — and this is the question we are asked more than any other. At ₹25 lakh you are looking at roughly 150–200 guests at a good four- or five-star property: catering at ₹3,500–4,500 per plate is the largest single line, venue hire ₹4–8 lakh, decor ₹5–8 lakh, photography ₹2–4 lakh. It does not stretch to a three-day celebration at a palace hotel, and it does not need to. Below about ₹15 lakh, the honest advice is to cut guest count rather than quality — 100 guests done properly reads far better than 300 done thinly.
For a multi-function wedding of 200-plus guests at a premium Bangalore hotel, yes — that is a normal Signature-tier number, and ₹10–12 lakh is where most couples land for one major function done well. For a single ceremony of 100 guests, it is high; that job sits at ₹3–5 lakh. The quote is not the useful thing to compare — ask for it broken into mandap, entrance, stage, tables and lighting, with flower volumes named. A decorator who will not itemise is a decorator whose number you cannot check. We publish the wholesale rates we buy flowers at daily on Daily Flower Rates, so you can price the floral line yourself.
If your wedding is under about 100 guests in a single venue on a single day, probably not — you can run that yourself, and we will tell you so. A planner earns their fee when there are multiple functions, out-of-town guests, a venue with restrictions, or a family that cannot be in Bangalore to chase vendors. The other honest case is design: if you want a wedding that looks like nothing else, you are buying design authorship, not coordination.
Most people reading this page are not the ones writing the cheque. If it helps to send the numbers to your parents rather than paraphrase them over dinner, the summary below is written to be forwarded as-is.

If it is useful, we have written up how we would answer these ourselves, along with the kind of couple we are genuinely not the right studio for, in how to interview a wedding planner and what we promise and what we build.

Wedding planners in Bangalore typically charge either a percentage of the total wedding budget (commonly 8–12%) or a flat planning fee. Panigrahana works on a flat fee agreed before anything is booked, so the number does not move when the budget does. For a detailed breakdown, see our Bangalore wedding planner cost guide.
A planner manages the wedding — budget, vendors, timeline, logistics. A decorator supplies the visual build — florals, mandap, stage, lighting. Most Bangalore firms do one and subcontract the other. We do both in-house, which is why the decor that gets installed is the decor that was drawn.
Six to nine months is comfortable. Peak-season dates (November to February) at the sought-after venues go much earlier, often twelve months out — the venue is usually the binding constraint, not the planner.
Yes. The same studio plans and produces weddings in Goa, Kerala, Coorg and internationally. The team travels; your wedding is not handed to a local subcontractor on arrival.
Yes — this is Panigrahana's core specialism. Bangalore is the natural choice for South-Indian NRI families with roots in the city — Tamil, Telugu and Kannada couples from the Bay Area, Seattle, London and Singapore who want the whole family celebration at home, with guests flown straight from Kempegowda airport to the venue. Panigrahana has planned 150 weddings for NRI families across the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Around half of our NRI couples never set foot in India until the wedding week — everything is decided remotely; the rest make a single focused trip of about 7 days for the food tasting, outfit fittings and a makeup patch-test so there are no surprises on the day. Every shortlisted venue gets a live video walkthrough — our team physically visits and walks you through every corner on the call. We take calls in early-morning and late-evening IST so they land in your daytime, in California or London. Panigrahana is an architect-founded Bangalore studio, rated 4.9/5 across 240+ WedMeGood reviews (100 on the Wedding Planners profile, 141 on the Decor profile) and 4.8/5 across 79 Google reviews, with a ~30-person in-house design and production team.
Around half of our NRI couples make none before the wedding week; the rest make a single trip of about 7 days for the food tasting, outfit fittings and a makeup patch-test. Every other decision is finalised remotely by video and written brief.
You pay in three milestones to Wedvitez Planners (our invoicing entity): 30% to confirm the date, 50% two months before, and the final 20% on the wedding week when you arrive. Quotes are given in INR with a live USD / GBP / AED equivalent, and we contract in INR so you carry no exchange-rate risk on the agreed amount — and you make milestone payments to us while we disburse to every vendor, so there is no juggling a dozen separate wire transfers.
We take calls in early-morning and late-evening IST so they land in your daytime, whether you are on the US West Coast or in London, with WhatsApp voice notes between. Every couple gets a private couple portal — we are the only India planner offering one — a weekly video call, and a WhatsApp group with both families.
