From ₹400/plate plantation venues to ₹24 lakh/day exclusive estates — the complete, honest breakdown by venue type, guest count, and what’s included.
Wedding venue costs in Bangalore range from about ₹400/plate at plantation venues like Samaya to ₹5,000/plate at 5-star hotels like Leela Palace. A 300-guest wedding at Taj West End including catering typically runs ₹12–15 lakh, while garden estates like Tamarind Tree charge a fixed ₹16 lakh/day rental with catering separate.
Want the number for your own guest count, functions and season? The wedding cost calculator builds it in about a minute from the same booked-wedding figures.
| Venue Type | Max Capacity | Menu Start | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5-Star Hotel (Taj West End) | 1,500 capacity | Vegetarian start | ₹4,000/plate |
| 5-Star Hotel (Leela Palace) | 2,000 capacity | Vegetarian start | ₹4,500/plate |
| Plantation Venue (Samaya) | 1,500 capacity | Vegetarian start | ₹400/plate |
| Garden Estate (Tamarind Tree) | 2,500 capacity | Venue rental (outside catering) | ₹16 lakh/day |
Before you compare prices, you need to understand that Bangalore wedding venues use two completely different pricing structures. Comparing a hotel quote to an estate quote without understanding this is one of the most common budgeting mistakes couples make.
Used by 5-star hotels, resort hotels, and plantation venues. You pay a per-head catering rate — the venue space is bundled in at no extra charge.
Used by garden estates, heritage properties, and boutique venues. You pay a fixed rental for the property and hire your own caterer separately.
For guest counts under 500, a garden estate rental + good external caterer (₹800–1,500/plate) is usually 30–40% cheaper than a 5-star hotel. For 800+ guests where catering quality must be consistent, hotel per-plate pricing often becomes competitive because the venue is effectively subsidised by volume.
These are starting prices for the 2025–26 wedding season. Actual quotes depend on exact dates, number of functions, menu customisation, and group room bookings. Outside catering is not permitted at any of these properties.

Prices are starting rates for the 2025–26 season. Premium menus, off-menu items, live counters, and bar are priced separately. Rates shown are for lunch functions; dinner typically runs 15–20% higher.
These venues charge a flat rental for the property. You bring your own caterer, which gives complete menu flexibility. Budget your total cost as: venue rental + caterer (₹800–2,500/plate depending on choice) + decor + all other vendors. The day rates below are not scraped estimates — for Tamarind Tree, Amita Rasa, Moongate, Samavana, Samaya, Royalton and Utsavaa they are the rates at which we have actually booked weddings, updated August 2026. Aggregator listings for several of these venues still show older, lower figures; budget on these numbers and treat anything lower you find online as a conversation starter, not a promise.

These venues sit within 30–45 km of Bangalore and offer a destination-estate atmosphere at significantly lower per-plate rates than city 5-star hotels. Most are in the Hesaraghatta and Devanahalli corridors.

Per-plate rates at plantation venues are base rates for standard vegetarian menus. Live counters, non-vegetarian upgrades, premium ingredients, and service staff beyond the standard complement are charged extra.
One of the most common budget shocks in wedding planning is discovering what the venue quote does not include. This breakdown applies across both pricing models.
These all-in estimates cover venue, catering, decor, and photography. They do not include jewellery, clothing, honeymoon, or accommodation for out-of-town guests beyond what the venue provides.
| Guest Count | Budget Option | Mid-Range | Luxury |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100–200 guests | ₹8–15 lakh | ₹15–30 lakh | ₹40–70 lakh |
| 300–500 guests | ₹15–30 lakh | ₹30–65 lakh | ₹70L–1.5 Cr |
| 700–1,000 guests | ₹30–55 lakh | ₹65L–1.2 Cr | ₹1.5–3 Cr |
Budget option = garden/plantation venue + external caterer + basic decor. Mid-range = resort venue with in-house catering + professional decor. Luxury = 5-star hotel + full floral production + premium photography.

For 100–200 guests, budget roughly ₹8–15 lakh at a garden or plantation venue with an outside caterer, ₹15–30 lakh mid-range at a resort with in-house catering and professional decor, and ₹40–70 lakh luxury at a 5-star hotel with full floral production. These cover venue, catering, decor and photography — not jewellery, clothing or honeymoon. Panigrahana sends a fitted shortlist and itemised breakdown within 3 hours.
A 5-star hotel wedding in Bangalore typically runs ₹40–80 lakh for 300–500 guests including catering, and can reach ₹1.5 crore+ for large luxury celebrations. There is usually no separate hall charge — the cost is embedded in the per-plate rate, which starts around ₹3,500–₹5,000/plate depending on the hotel and menu. Panigrahana provides an itemised budget upfront so you see exactly where every rupee goes.
Catering is almost always the largest line — priced per plate, it scales directly with guest count, so it moves first when the list grows. Decor and floral production come next, then photography, entertainment and vendor logistics. Venue is often bundled into catering at hotels or charged as a fixed rental at estates. Panigrahana gives a fully itemised, category-by-category budget so nothing is a surprise.
Vegetarian per-plate rates start around ₹4,500 at Leela Palace, ₹5,000 at Four Seasons, ₹3,800 at ITC Gardenia and ₹3,500 at JW Marriott, with non-veg and dinner receptions a little higher. At these hotels the venue cost is built into the per-plate price. Panigrahana's established relationships at these properties often secure better rates and priority dates — share your guest count for a live quote.
