Eden Farms is a new farmhouse-format wedding venue on the Hennur–Bagalur road, about twenty minutes from the airport on the venue's own reckoning. It is built around three named spaces rather than one big hall: Amritam, a tiled-roof kalyani mantap beside water for the ceremony itself; Verdanta, the grand lawn; and Ambrosa, a semi-enclosed thatched banquet structure for dining and evening functions.
The mantap is the piece that matters. Most Bangalore farmhouse venues give you a lawn and expect the decorator to invent a ceremony space on it. Here the ceremony pavilion is a permanent tiled-roof structure with carved posts, so a traditional muhurtham has somewhere to happen that already reads as a mandapa rather than as scaffolding under fabric.
Catering is outside-only, which means the food conversation is yours to run. Decorators, DJs and alcohol are all open too. Combined with 12 rooms sleeping up to 75 and a separate cottage for the couple, that makes this a venue you configure rather than one you accept.

Designed, not just planned
Wedding planning & decor at Eden Farms: how we would design it
Amritam is a permanent tiled-roof pavilion with carved posts, which changes the design brief entirely: you are dressing an existing mandapa rather than building one. That means the work is in the canopy underside, the post wraps and the floor, not in structure — and it means the budget usually spent on a mandap frame can go into flowers instead. The roof is low and the posts are close, so hanging work has to be tight and light; heavy garlanding closes the space visually and blocks the sightline from the lawn. Verdanta's weakness is shade. It is an open lawn on a new property with young planting, so a midday function needs shade brought in, and the ceremony belongs in the last two hours of daylight. Ambrosa is semi-enclosed with a thatched roof, which is warm-toned and absorbs light — a cool key light there will fight the material, so work warm and add colour through flowers rather than through gels. Rain is handled better than at most farmhouse venues because Ambrosa is a real covered structure at 500 capacity, not a marquee.
Which function goes where
| Haldi | Verdanta lawn in the morning, or the paved area beside Amritam. The water feature by the mantap gives a background that needs no decor. |
|---|---|
| Mehendi | Ambrosa, under the thatched roof. Shade, seating and open sides — the correct shape for a mehendi that runs half a day. |
| Sangeet | Ambrosa or the lawn with an outside DJ. The thatched structure is semi-enclosed, so sound does not disappear the way it does on an open lawn. |
| Wedding ceremony | Amritam for the muhurtham with the family close in, and the lawn for the wider crowd watching. The pavilion holds about a hundred, so the seating plan has to separate the two groups deliberately. |
| Reception | Verdanta lawn for a large seated reception, with Ambrosa as the dining and wet-weather space. |
Season and weather
November to February for the lawn. Ambrosa's covered roof makes the property workable through the monsoon for functions up to about 500, which is more than most farmhouse venues on this corridor can say.
Arrivals, access and logistics
The Hennur–Bagalur road is the quieter of the two airport approaches, which makes arrival timings more predictable than the Bellary Road side. The venue's own site says twenty minutes from the airport. From south Bangalore expect a long drive and tell guests so. Vendor access on a farmhouse property is usually generous, but confirm the kitchen setup area and water supply with your caterer on the site visit.
An honest read
Is Eden Farms the right venue for your wedding?
| Right for you if | North Bangalore and airport-corridor families with 300–800 guests who want a traditional ceremony pavilion, their own caterer and a small room block on site. |
|---|---|
| Look elsewhere if | Anyone who wants an air-conditioned hall, a full hotel room block, or an in-house catering package that removes the vendor management from their plate. |
| Planner tip | Fix your caterer before you fix your date. Outside-catering-only venues at this size require a caterer who has worked a farmhouse kitchen setup before — the difference between one who has and one who has not shows up as a forty-minute delay on the lunch service for 600 people. |

Asked and answered
Eden Farms wedding questions
How many guests can Eden Farms hold?
The venue's own site gives Verdanta lawn up to 800, Ambrosa banquet hall up to 500 and Amritam kalyani mantap up to 100. The WedMeGood listing records a combined lawn-and-banquet figure of 800 seated / 1,000 floating, checked 11 September 2026. Plan around 800.
Do I have to bring my own caterer to Eden Farms?
Yes. The listing records outside catering only. That gives you full control of the menu and the cost, and it puts the kitchen setup on your side of the table. Appoint a caterer who has worked a farmhouse kitchen before and settle water, gas points and washing area on the site visit.
What does Eden Farms cost?
The public listing reference is ₹3,50,000 per function as a rental, taxes extra, checked 11 September 2026. The venue's own site publishes no rate card and no plate rate, because the food is your caterer's. Ask for the rental against your specific date and whether it covers one function or the full day.
What is Amritam?
The kalyani mantap — a permanent tiled-roof ceremony pavilion with carved posts, beside water, holding about 100 people. It is the reason to choose Eden Farms over a plain lawn venue: the muhurtham has a real structure to happen in rather than a temporary mandap frame on grass.
Does Eden Farms have rooms?
The venue's own accommodation page records 12 rooms sleeping up to 75 guests, plus one exclusive bride and groom cottage for 6. Aggregators say 14 rooms; the venue's own 12-plus-1 figure is the one to use. It is a family block, not a full guest hotel.
How far is Eden Farms from the airport?
The venue's own about page says twenty minutes. It sits at Dasanayakanahalli near Bagalur Cross on the Hennur–Bagalur road, which is the quieter of the two airport approaches and more predictable for timed arrivals than the Bellary Road side.
Is alcohol allowed at Eden Farms?
The listing records no in-house alcohol and outside alcohol permitted. You arrange the bar. Confirm the licensing position for your date, since Karnataka rules for one-day event permits change and the responsibility sits with whoever supplies.
Can I bring my own decorator and DJ?
Yes to both. Outside decorators are permitted and outside DJs are permitted with no in-house unit. Combined with outside catering and outside alcohol, effectively nothing here is locked to a house vendor.
Is there a rain backup at Eden Farms?
Better than most farmhouse venues. Ambrosa is a permanent semi-enclosed structure at up to 500 capacity, and Amritam is a roofed pavilion. A full 800-guest lawn function still needs a tented extension in a wet month, but the ceremony and the dining are already under roof.
How big is the property?
About 2.5 acres, per WedMeGood and Meragi. The venue's own site does not state an acreage, so treat this as a listing figure rather than a confirmed one. For context, 2.5 acres is compact for a venue handling 800 guests, which is why the covered structures matter here — the built space is doing work that a larger site would hand to open ground.
When did Eden Farms open?
The WedMeGood listing records it as started in 2025 and it has been listed there for about one year and seven months as of September 2026. It already carries a 5.0 rating from 152 reviews, which is a very high review count for a venue that new.
What would Panigrahana do differently at Eden Farms?
Spend the mandap budget on flowers instead of structure. Amritam is already a proper tiled-roof pavilion with carved posts, so the work is the canopy underside, the post wraps and the floor. Heavy garlanding closes the pavilion visually and blocks the sightline from the lawn, so it stays tight and light. Ambrosa's thatched roof absorbs light and reads warm, so we key it warm and bring colour through flowers rather than through gels.
