Quick Answer · Airport-side wedding venues
Taj Bangalore is the closest at about 300 m from Terminal 1; Aldovia Resort & Convention publishes about ten minutes by road, Moongate on the airport road is 10 km away and JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire about 25 minutes (Marriott). Le Roma Samsara sits at 15 km, Angsana Oasis at 22 km and The Leela Bhartiya City at 24 km. Past those, the Devanahalli belt runs on towards Nandi Hills.
Which wedding venues are closest to Bangalore airport?
Fifteen venues in the table below have a distance or drive time to Kempegowda International Airport on record. Taj Bangalore is effectively on the terminal forecourt. Aldovia is ten minutes out, Moongate 10 km, Valura 12 km, Le Roma Samsara 15 km and Wiwaha 17 km. Angsana Oasis, The King’s Meadows, Chitrakoot and The Leela Bhartiya City fall between 22 and 24 km, and JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire is about 25 minutes by Marriott’s own figure.
The table carries only figures the property, its own listing or its Panigrahana venue page records, checked between 11 and 27 September 2026. Where a venue gives a drive time rather than a distance, we print the drive time and say whose it is. Several airport-belt venues — Moxy Bengaluru Airport at Prestige Tech Cloud among them — publish no distance at all.

Plate rates are starting figures from each venue’s own listing unless marked as our booking records, taxes extra; a wedding-grade menu with live counters sits above them. Rentals are per function. Sources sit on each venue’s page, linked in column one.
Panigrahana is a wedding planning and decor studio, not a venue: the venue contracts with you for rooms, space and food; we plan, design and run the wedding.
Which airport-side venues publish a price, and what is it?
Four publish a plate rate: Taj Bangalore at ₹4,200 veg and ₹5,000 non-veg, The Leela Bhartiya City at ₹3,000 and ₹3,500, Aldovia at ₹1,000 and ₹1,300, and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Yelahanka at ₹1,800 and ₹2,000. Five publish a flat rental instead.
The spread is the point. Aldovia’s published plate is roughly a quarter of the Taj plate in the same taluk, on a property with a 25,000 sq ft pillarless convention hall — the whole commercial argument for the drive out to Sadahalli. On the rental side, Chitrakoot lists ₹3,00,000 per function, Eden Farms ₹3,50,000, Kshemyaa ₹4,00,000, Le Roma Samsara ₹5,00,000 and La Terra Gardens ₹9,00,000, taxes extra.
Two caveats. A published plate is a starting menu, not your menu. And none of the five-star properties actually sells you a hall — they sell a minimum guarantee expressed as a plate count per space per function, with the room allocated against it. Ask for that minimum and the shortfall rate in writing before you hold a date. Two functions on two spaces means two floors, not one.
In your currency: ₹4,200 a plate is about US$44, £33 or AED 160; ₹1,000 a plate about US$10, £8 or AED 38; Amita Rasa’s ₹16 lakh day rate about US$16,700, £12,600, AED 61,300, C$23,600 or A$23,800. Converted at the 26 Sep 2026 rate; contracts are in INR (US$1 = ₹95.91, £1 = ₹126.86, AED 1 = ₹26.12, C$1 = ₹67.74, A$1 = ₹67.36; open.er-api.com mid-market).
How does each price: rental, per plate, or a per-day package?
Three models run side by side on this corridor. Hotels charge per plate against a minimum guarantee. Farm and garden venues charge a flat rental per function and you appoint the caterer. A handful of resorts sell a per-day package that folds rooms, three meals and the venue into one number.
The per-day package is the one couples living abroad tend to miss, and it is the cleanest to compare. Signature Club Resort at Brigade Orchards lists about ₹17 lakh a day for 60 rooms including rooms, three meals and the venue; White Mist by NAVA about ₹10 lakh a day for 41 rooms on the same basis; The Leela Bhartiya City roughly ₹25 lakh a day for 100 rooms. Those three can be set against each other honestly, which is more than three plate rates at three menu tiers allow.
Flat rental behaves differently as the list grows. Amita Rasa’s ₹16 lakh buys exclusive use of the whole 28-acre estate for the day whether you bring 200 guests or 800, with catering appointed and billed by you. Scaling up costs less there than at a per-plate hotel, which is why the arithmetic belongs on your real number before the shortlist is cut. Our Bangalore venue cost guide sets out all three models across the wider city.
Which suit a 30–50 guest wedding?
Several, but only in a named small room. Aldovia’s Lily holds 30 and Tulip 40. Both halves of Mulberry Shades’ Amaya seat 36 on rounds. Signature Club Resort’s Jasmine Hall takes 40 seated. Park Inn’s Licuala Hall takes 30, and The Leela Bhartiya City’s daylit Bidar and Hampi rooms are capped at 25 each.
The failure mode at this size is not the venue, it is the room. A ballroom sized for 800 with 40 people in it reads as an empty hall in every photograph. So the useful question is never “can you do 40 guests?” — the answer is always yes — but “which room, at what floor area, and will you write that name into the contract?” Taj Bangalore’s smallest listed capacity is 60; Moxy goes down to 20.
Two things follow. A minimum guarantee written for a ballroom will not be met by 40 covers, so the shortfall rate matters more than the plate rate. And a flat-rental estate is the wrong shape entirely — Amita Rasa’s own minimum is 200 guests. Same trade-offs, at length, in our intimate Bangalore wedding guide.
Is Devanahalli or Yelahanka the better base?
Devanahalli if most of your list is flying in, because the resorts there hold the wedding and the beds on one property. Yelahanka if most of your list already lives in Bangalore, because the Doddaballapur Main Road venues sit 20–25 km from the terminals and far closer to the city’s own neighbourhoods.
Devanahalli taluk is the airport’s own belt: Taj Bangalore opposite the terminals, Aldovia at Sadahalli, Moxy at Jala Hobli, JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire at Kundana, Mulberry Shades and White Mist on the Nandi Hills road, Signature Club Resort inside Brigade Orchards, and the farm venues at Gantiganahalli and off NH-648. Guests clear immigration and are at the venue almost at once. The cost is the city: Taj puts central Bengaluru at roughly 35–40 km and 50–70 minutes, Aldovia at about 35 km and an hour, and JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire at about 45 km and up to an hour and a half to MG Road.
Yelahanka and the Doddaballapur Main Road stretch invert that: Chitrakoot at 23.8 km, The King’s Meadows at 23 km, Angsana Oasis at 22 km, plus Crown Estate on the Bellary Road corridor, La Terra Gardens at Ananthapura and Kshemyaa at Honnenahalli. Half an hour to the terminal, and a far shorter run for the aunt in Malleswaram who is not staying over. Our north Bangalore venue guide maps the whole belt; the Nandi Hills page covers what lies beyond it.
The deciding number is rarely the airport distance. It is the split between guests who need a bed and guests who will drive home.
Where do guests stay when they fly in?
On the property, if you pick a hotel. Taj Bangalore has 370 rooms, JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire 301, The Leela Bhartiya City 281, Le Roma Samsara 148, Aldovia 144, Moxy 128 and Mulberry Shades 102. The farm and estate venues run from seven bedrooms upwards, so they need an off-site block.
That distinction decides more of the plan than any decor choice. A 300-guest wedding at a 370-room hotel is one arrival brief, one front desk, one set of keys. The same wedding at Chitrakoot (24 rooms) or Eden Farms (13) means a block at a second property and a coach schedule that has to survive a delayed flight.
The middle of the range holds the useful options: Signature Club Resort lists 60 rooms plus villas inside Brigade Orchards, White Mist 48 hill-view suites and villas, Park Inn & Suites 59, Crown Estate 20 and Kshemyaa 12. Where a per-day package already includes the rooms — Signature Club’s 60, White Mist’s 41 — the block and the venue are one negotiation, not two. For how many rooms a given list actually needs, the guest rooms calculator does it in one pass.
One last thing for long-haul arrivals: ask for the check-in time in writing, not just the room count. A 6 am landing against a 2 pm check-in is the commonest arrival problem on this corridor, and it is fixed at contract stage, not at the desk.
