Designed, not just planned

How we would design a wedding at Renaissance Goa Hotel

The hotel already has a strong interior of its own: brass Vanda orchid installations and an LED-lit glass roof that shifts with the light (Travel Trade Journal). Our design works with that palette rather than covering it. The practical limit is height. Grand De Balo's ceiling is 12.5 ft on Marriott's chart, so a tall mandap canopy or a hanging floral ceiling will not read there; low, wide structures and lighting do the work. Fiore, at 20.3 ft, is the room for a suspended installation, which makes it a better choice than its size suggests for a mehendi or an intimate ceremony.

Arpora is in North Goa, inland between Baga and Anjuna. Both Mopa and Dabolim airports serve the area; ask the hotel for transfer times on your arrival day.
