A decorator makes the venue look right. A production company makes the evening run right — sound, light, LED, staging and a show-caller holding the cue sheet. We do it with the same team that produces concerts.
Wedding production is the technical layer of a wedding event: sound design and engineering, lighting design and programming, LED walls and playback, staging, rigging, power and backup, and show-calling — the cue-by-cue direction that keeps a twelve-performance sangeet from drifting ninety minutes into dinner service. In 2026, a competent base package for a designed sangeet or reception starts around ₹8–15 lakh per event night; a full production night with a large LED wall, followspots and a show-caller runs ₹18–40 lakh; rider-compliant celebrity-artist nights start at ₹35 lakh before artist fees.
Panigrahana is unusual in this market because wedding production is not a service we bolt on — it is half the studio. The same company runs Panigrahana Productions, which produces concerts, corporate shows and festivals across India and Asia. The engineers, equipment relationships and show-calling discipline are shared. Founded in 2019 by Chaithanya Iganesh, a trained architect, the studio runs a 30+ person in-house team, has produced 500+ weddings, and holds a 4.8/5 rating across 241 reviews.
Line-array systems specced to the venue's actual geometry, separate vocal and playback mixes, wireless management so the emcee's mic doesn't drop during the couple's entry, and an engineer at the desk all night. Outdoor lawns, beach venues and palace courtyards each fail differently; we have produced in all three for years.
A lighting design that serves three masters: the ceremony's emotion, the performances' energy, and the photographer's exposures. Cue-programmed rigs, followspots for entries and artist sets, and haze where the design calls for visible beams. The difference between programmed and parked lighting is the difference between a show and a hall.
LED walls with content built for the screen's actual resolution and viewing distance, stages and risers engineered for load (a twelve-dancer family performance is a load case), trussing with certified rigging, and power distribution with genuine backup — not a generator that has never been switched over under load.
A run-of-show built days in advance, rehearsed cue sheets, and one person on comms calling every transition: lights, sound, LED content, emcee, artist, entries, dinner release. It is how concerts run on time, and it is why our sangeets do. If you take one idea from this page, take this one — and read the sangeet planning guide for how the evening is structured around it.
| Production Tier | Typical Budget (per event night) | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Base production | ₹8–15 lakh | Line-array sound, programmed lighting rig, basic LED screen, trussing, engineers at the desks all night. |
| Full production sangeet | ₹18–40 lakh | Large-format LED wall with custom content, followspots, haze, cue-programmed lighting, dedicated show-caller, rehearsal block. |
| Artist / celebrity night | ₹35 lakh+ | Rider-compliant sound and lighting specs, artist liaison, monitor engineer, backline, security coordination. Artist fee separate. |
| Multi-day mandate | ₹25–75 lakh | Production across mehendi, sangeet, ceremony and reception. Prices better than per-night — rigging and crew stay through the programme. |

Production is one line in a larger budget. For how it sits alongside venue, decor and catering at luxury scale, see the luxury wedding planner India page and the big fat Indian wedding guide.
Most wedding production in India is rental aggregation: a planner calls a sound vendor, a light vendor, an LED vendor, and hopes the four WhatsApp groups converge by 7 PM. It works until it doesn't — usually at the exact moment the artist's set, the couple's entry and dinner service all need the same twenty minutes. Our production team runs weddings the way it runs ticketed shows for Panigrahana Productions: one technical director, one cue sheet, one accountable team from load-in to load-out.
It also means honest technical advice flows both ways. We will tell you when a venue's power supply cannot carry the LED wall you want, when an artist's rider makes a lawn venue a bad idea, and when ₹10 lakh of programmed lighting will photograph better than ₹20 lakh of unprogrammed fixtures. Decor and production are designed together — the mandap, stage and lighting are one composition, which is covered from the design side on the luxury wedding decor company page.
As part of a full-wedding mandate — planning, design, decor and production as one engagement from ₹50 lakh. Or as a standalone production brief from ₹8 lakh per event night if your planner or family is running the wedding and you want the technical layer done properly. Either way: one team, one cue sheet, on time.
