About Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa

Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa is the entertainment-branded resort directly on Utorda beach, twenty minutes from Dabolim. WedMeGood lists a Beach Lawn for 300 seated and 600 standing, the Maximus Lawn for 500 / 550, and two indoor rooms, Cinema Paradiso (260 seated) and The Liiving Room (160). Room counts differ between listings (142 on WedMeGood, 115 on Cvent), so the block is the first thing to confirm.

Decorators come from the resort's panel. Panigrahana designs the beachfront low and engineered for wind, with the party moving into Cinema Paradiso at the 10 pm cut-off.

Designed, not just planned

How we would design a wedding at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa

Beachfront: low, wind-engineered structures; the sea and sunset as the picture.

Which function goes where

Haldi	The poolside in the morning.
Mehendi	The Liiving Room (160 seated) or a garden lawn under shade.
Sangeet	Cinema Paradiso with a stage (260 seated), the party indoors past 10 pm.
Wedding ceremony	The Beach Lawn at sunset (300 seated / 600 floating), Cinema Paradiso as the written rain plan.
Reception	The Maximus Lawn (500 / 550) or the Beach Lawn.

Season and weather

November to February for the beach; the monsoon is unusable outdoors.

Arrivals, access and logistics

The resort quotes 20 minutes from Dabolim, and Cvent lists the nearest airport at 14 km; Mopa (GOX) is at the far northern end of the state. Utorda and Majorda hold overflow. Confirm the 10 pm outdoor rule and beach-structure permissions.

Planet Hollywood Goa policies

Outside decorators	Decorators from the resort's panel only, per the WedMeGood listing
Catering	In-house catering only, per the WedMeGood listing
Alcohol	The bar is in-house; outside alcohol is not permitted (WedMeGood listing).
Music and DJ	Outdoor amplified sound stops at 10 pm: the Noise Pollution Rules bar loudspeakers from 10 pm to 6 am except inside closed premises such as banquet halls (CPCB). The late party moves to Cinema Paradiso; the hotel sets its own closing time, so get it in writing.
Music curfew	Goa's outdoor amplified-sound rule closes lawns and beach at 10 pm; indoor rooms run later under the hotel's rules. Confirm in writing.
Fireworks and effects	No fireworks policy is published. Fireworks, cold pyro and sky lanterns need the resort's written consent and the licensed operator's permissions for your date; we do not design them in until both are in hand.
Parking	Sufficient parking, per the WedMeGood listing.

Policy source: source, checked 2026-09-26. Get the current policy in writing before you commission any fabrication.

Asked and answered

Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa wedding questions

How much does a wedding at Planet Hollywood Goa cost?

WedMeGood shows ₹3,000 veg and ₹3,300 non-veg per plate as the starting price, taxes extra (checked 26 September 2026). At those rates, 200 guests at two functions come to ₹12–13.2 lakh before taxes. The listing also shows a ₹27.5 lakh-a-day destination package for 100 rooms with three meals and the venue.

What is the per plate price at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa?

₹3,000 vegetarian and ₹3,300 non-vegetarian per plate on WedMeGood, taxes extra. Ask for the menu and figure for your date in writing.

Can we have a beach wedding at Planet Hollywood Goa?

Yes. WedMeGood lists a Beach Lawn on Utorda beach for 300 seated / 600 floating. A structure on the sand itself needs the resort's and local permissions, and outdoor sound stops at 10 pm. Cinema Paradiso, 260 seated indoors, is the rain plan.

What is the capacity of Planet Hollywood Goa for a wedding?

WedMeGood lists 160 to 600 guests: the Beach Lawn at 300 / 600, the Maximus Lawn at 500 / 550, Cinema Paradiso at 260 / 300 and The Liiving Room at 160 / 200. Cvent puts Maximus at 4,900 sq ft for a 350-guest cocktail.

How many rooms does Planet Hollywood Goa have?

The sources disagree: WedMeGood lists 142 rooms and Cvent 115. Ask the resort how many it can hold for your block; Utorda and Majorda have overflow nearby.

Can we bring our own decorator to Planet Hollywood Goa?

The WedMeGood listing says decorators come from the resort's panel only, with catering and alcohol in-house. If you want your own design team, ask in writing whether the panel rule can be varied before you commit.

What is the music curfew at Planet Hollywood Goa?

Outdoors, amplified sound stops at 10 pm. The Noise Pollution Rules bar loudspeakers from 10 pm to 6 am except inside closed premises such as banquet halls (CPCB). The beach party moves into Cinema Paradiso; agree its closing time in writing.

Do you plan weddings at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa?

Yes. Panigrahana Weddings is an independent planning and design studio, not the resort's sales office. We design the beach-lawn ceremony and the indoor functions, agree the panel terms with the resort, and run the programme. The property keeps the contract for rooms and food. Send your date and guest count and we check it with the resort.

Planet Hollywood vs Kenilworth: which Utorda resort suits our wedding?

Neighbours on Utorda beach. Planet Hollywood has a ₹3,000 veg plate, a Beach Lawn for 600 and panel-only decorators (WedMeGood). Kenilworth has 101 rooms, a ₹2,500 veg plate, lawns for 1,500 and outside decorators permitted (resort; WedMeGood). Kenilworth gives more room to design; Planet Hollywood a lawn right on the beach.
