About DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport
DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport opened on 2 February 2026 inside the Bengaluru Aerospace Park, about 15 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport. It is the largest DoubleTree in India, with 304 rooms and suites and over 9,185 sq ft of event space in two ballrooms and meeting rooms. Its Cvent listing gives the Ballroom 240 at banquet rounds and up to 700 at a cocktail reception; no wedding rate is published.
The case for it is the room count and the runway. A family flying in guests from Delhi, Mumbai or abroad can land, check in and be at the mehendi the same afternoon, and 304 rooms hold a large block under one roof. Hilton's announcement presents it for conferences, large meetings and transit stays, so ask to see the Ballroom set for a function, with the decor terms in writing.
Panigrahana Weddings plans and designs the wedding; the hotel takes the booking and the room block.

Designed, not just planned
How we would design a wedding at DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport
A new airport ballroom has no wedding history, which is good for design: nothing to undo. Both ballrooms have 16 ft ceilings (Cvent), enough for a raised mandap or a suspended floral canopy, so our first request is the floor plan with the rigging points. With most guests staying upstairs, the arrival from lift to Ballroom is worth designing as a short walk-in through the 1,672 sq ft pre-function area.
Which function goes where
| Haldi | The pool deck in the morning, if the hotel releases it for a function; ask. |
|---|---|
| Mehendi | The Hangar, 132 at banquet rounds (Cvent), with daylight for the artists arranged with the hotel. |
| Sangeet | The Ballroom with a stage and dance floor, or the Hangar for a smaller crowd. |
| Wedding ceremony | The Ballroom, 240 at banquet rounds (Cvent), with the mandap on the long wall. |
| Reception | The Ballroom for a cocktail reception of up to 700 (Cvent), with the pre-function area for the welcome drink. |
Season and weather
November to February is Bangalore's wedding peak: 55 of the 96 Bangalore weddings booked with Panigrahana in 2026 fall in those months (booking records checked 24 October 2026). The ballrooms are indoors and work in any month. Airport hotels also host conference groups through the season, so hold the room block as early as the Ballroom.
Arrivals, access and logistics
The hotel is inside the Bengaluru Aerospace Park, about 15 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport (Hilton) and about 9 km by its Cvent listing. Guests coming from central or south Bangalore face a long drive, so arrange coaches for local guests as well as airport transfers. Cvent lists complimentary and valet parking; load-in hours are not published, so agree vendor access with the banquet team.
DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport policies
| Outside decorators | Not published by the hotel or its Cvent listing (checked 26 October 2026). Ask in writing whether an outside decorator may build in the Ballroom and the Hangar, with load-in hours and the rigging points under the 16 ft ceilings, before you hold the date. |

| Music and DJ | Not published. Outdoor music, such as on the pool deck, has a hard stop at 10:30 pm, as at every Bangalore venue we work at (Panigrahana booking records, October 2026); the ballrooms are indoors and run later under the hotel's rules. |

Is DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport the right venue for your wedding?
| Right for you if | Families with many out-of-town or overseas guests who want everyone housed in one hotel 15 minutes from the airport, for a ballroom wedding of 240 at banquet rounds or a reception of up to 700 guests. |
|---|---|
| Look elsewhere if | Couples who want a lawn ceremony or a central Bangalore address will find them at an estate or a city hotel; this is an indoor ballroom hotel beside the airport, at its best for a guest list that flies in. |
| Planner tip | Because the hotel opened in February 2026, ask for the Ballroom floor plan with the rigging points under the 16 ft ceiling, the decor and bar terms and a room-block rate in one written proposal, and ask to see the Ballroom set for a function before you hold the date. |

Planning a wedding at DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport from abroad
DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport is about 9 km from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR), around 15 minutes by road. 304 rooms ≈ 608 guests at two a room. A 150-guest block at two a room needs 75 rooms, which fits on site if the venue releases that many rooms for your dates.
Kempegowda International Airport is about 15 minutes away (Hilton) and about 9 km by the hotel's Cvent listing, so overseas guests land and check in within the hour without crossing the city. All 304 rooms and suites are in one building, which keeps a large family block together; ask for a group rate and a release date. November to February suits guests flying in. A remote walkthrough covers the Ballroom, the Hangar, the pool deck and the room categories, with each capacity confirmed in writing.
| Season | November to February is Bangalore's wedding peak: 55 of the 96 Bangalore weddings booked with Panigrahana in 2026 fall in those months (booking records checked 24 October 2026). |

What families usually ask about DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport
Parents usually ask where the mandap and the havan go and how far the elders must walk. The Ballroom's 16 ft ceiling takes a full mandap; agree the fire rules for a homam in writing, since the hotel has published none. Food is the hotel's own, so set the vegetarian or community menu at a tasting. The rooms and both ballrooms are in one building, so ask for lift-side rooms for grandparents.
What time does the music stop at DoubleTree Bengaluru Airport?
Bengaluru closes amplified outdoor sound at 10 pm under the noise rules; in practice, outdoor music on the pool deck has a hard stop at 10:30 pm, as at every Bangalore venue we work at (Panigrahana booking records, October 2026), and the Ballroom and the Hangar run later under the hotel's rules. Confirm in writing.

November to February: 55 of the 96 Bangalore weddings booked with Panigrahana in 2026 fall in those months (booking records checked 24 October 2026). The ballrooms are indoors, so any month works, but conference groups also fill airport hotels, so hold the room block early.
