Scale is the design problem here. A thousand-seated lawn on a riverbank is not a bigger version of a 300-seat lawn; it is a sightline and a sound problem. At that distance the mandap or the stage has to be raised and lit to be legible from the back, delay speakers or a distributed system replace a single stack, and the floor plan needs aisles wide enough for service to move without crossing the ceremony. Build the layout from the back row forward, not from the stage back. Wind and salt apply as everywhere on this coast: low, weighted structures, guyed verticals, no loose fabric spans, and fresh florals specified for humidity with a morning check on anything rigged overnight.
