It also carries a destination-wedding figure of ₹20 lakh per day covering rooms, three meals and the venue, though that line references 100 rooms against a listed 38, so it needs clarifying with the resort before you rely on it.

At Bevoori, Udma, in Kasaragod district, Kerala 671319. The resort describes itself as surrounded by the river Nombili on three sides, in the lap of the Arabian Sea, with landscaped gardens, an internal lagoon and a white sand beach. It is a few kilometres from the other Bekal resorts rather than adjacent to them.

No. The Leela's two Kerala hotels are The Leela Kovalam, near Thiruvananthapuram, and The Leela Ashtamudi in Kollam, both Raviz hotels (theleela.com, checked 27 September 2026). The resort describes a pristine white sandy beach and offers the beachfront among its wedding settings, but publishes no capacity for it. A beach build needs a laid floor, a defined vehicle route and reinstatement, and tide and wind decide on the day whether it happens — so a beach function always carries a same-day alternative in the gardens.

It is a hard, level, load-bearing surface at 500 seated, which is rare on a coastal property where most large settings are turf or sand. Nothing can be pinned, so every structure is ballasted and every cable ramped, and the floor itself has to be dressed. In exchange you get a perfectly flat platform that does not turn to mud after rain.

Utsav, at 200 guests. That absorbs a mid-size function and it does not absorb a 500-seat Helipad dinner. North Kerala weather turns quickly, so ask how late the call can be made, what the fallback is at your exact headcount, and who carries the cost if the answer is a temporary structure over the Helipad.

October to March, with December and January the strongest. The south-west monsoon runs June to September and is heavy on this coast, so a wedding in those months belongs indoors in Utsav. April and May are dry but humid — evening functions are comfortable, afternoon ones need shade and cooling designed in from the start.

Mangaluru and Kannur are the two airports; the resort publishes neither distance, so confirm the drive for your guest list. Kasaragod and Bekal Fort railway stations also serve the area, which matters in north Kerala where much of the family often travels by train. For a large function, plan vehicle marshalling and a covered arrival point carefully.
