Why Panigrahana
Panigrahana Weddings is an architect-founded wedding planning and decor studio working in Bangalore. Panigrahana has planned 500+ weddings since 2016 across 12 countries, about 300 of them for couples living abroad, and is rated 4.8/5 across 93 Google reviews. Panigrahana runs its own proprietary couple and vendor portal, keeps a dedicated hospitality and logistics team for guest movement, room blocks and transfers, and designs and fabricates every mandap and stage in-house with a 30-person team, nothing rented. The planning fee is a flat ₹5–25 lakh+ with zero vendor commissions; clients pay vendors directly. 3 of the last 100 weddings went over budget, by an average of 12%.
Couples approve designs and budgets remotely inside Panigrahana's own couple and vendor portal, the Wedding OS the studio built for itself. Vendors are coordinated inside the same system, so decisions and payments sit in one place.
A dedicated hospitality and logistics team runs guest movement: room blocks, transfers, flight manifests and an on-ground desk that answers questions so the family's phones don't.
Panigrahana was founded by architects and the designers are architects. Every mandap and stage is drawn for one couple, not picked from a catalogue.
A 30-person in-house team fabricates what the architects draw. Nothing is rented.
A flat fee of ₹5–25 lakh+, set by scope. Zero vendor commissions; clients pay vendors directly. 3 of the last 100 weddings went over budget, by an average of 12%.
“They handled everything — family expectations, vendor negotiations, 300 guests from 4 countries — with absolute grace. We just showed up and got married.”
“Planning from Singapore with family spread across the US and India — Panigrahana made it feel like we were right there. Every detail guided, every moment held.”

Utsavaa has dedicated parking for 500 cars — ensuring your 4,000-guest wedding never has the logistical chaos that mars large celebrations elsewhere.

Utsavaa's entire infrastructure — halls, lighting rigs, kitchen, AV systems, and grounds — is brand new, built in 2023. State-of-the-art facilities without the wear and dated layouts of older Bangalore venues.
Near Electronic City IT hub, HSR Layout, Bommanahalli, and Bannerghatta Road — Utsavaa is perfectly positioned for South Bangalore's large and growing tech-sector community who previously had no grand venue nearby.

Utsavaa's 14-acre estate offers five distinct spaces — ensuring every function of a multi-day wedding has its own perfectly suited setting, from intimate haldi gatherings to 1,500-person outdoor sangeets.

For a wedding at Utsavaa, Bangalore, the venue rental is ₹2 lakh to ₹15 lakh per day. Those are the numbers we work to at this property, from weddings we have produced here. Guest rooms and decor are billed separately, so treat them as a floor rather than a total.
| Venue rental | ₹2 lakh to ₹15 lakh per dayfrom a wedding we produced here |
|---|---|
| Rental basis | The spread is real and it is entirely about how much of the property you take. A single space for one function sits at the bottom of that range; the whole venue for a full multi-day wedding sits at the top. Decide your function list before you ask for a number, or the quote you get back will not mean anything.what the rental covers |

What a venue costs and what can be built in it come down to a handful of things, none of which appear on a brochure. All of them are normal to ask, and a good venue will answer them in writing.
Venue capacities are usually published as floating numbers — how many people can be in the space at once, standing and moving. A seated dinner with a stage, a dance floor and service aisles needs materially more room per guest. Utsavaa’s published ceiling is 4,000 guests; before you sign, ask the venue to confirm the seated figure for the specific layout you want, function by function. The two numbers answer different questions and both are worth having in writing.
Properties differ, and all of the models are legitimate: some are in-house only, some allow outside vendors freely, and some allow them against a royalty or access fee per plate or per event. Establish which model applies at Utsavaa before you fall in love with a design, because it decides who can build it and what it costs. Ask for the policy in writing, including any fee, and confirm whether it differs by function.
For an outdoor function the useful question is not whether there is a backup, but what the backup is — a built covered space of a stated capacity, or a structure that has to be brought in and paid for. Ask which it is at Utsavaa, what it seats, how late the call can be made, and if it is a temporary structure, who carries that cost.
A build for 4,000 guests puts lighting, sound, kitchens and cooling on the supply at the same time, and open grounds rarely carry all of it on house supply alone. Ask Utsavaa what load is available, whether a generator is required or recommended, who supplies it, and whether silent-generator placement is restricted — the answer changes both the budget and the technical design.
What it actually costs to marry at Utsavaa — with the source of every figure stated, the way we quote it to our own couples.
How is Utsavaa priced?
Venue hire runs ₹2 lakh to ₹15 lakh per day depending entirely on how much of the property you take — a single space for one function sits at the bottom of the range, the whole venue for a multi-day wedding at the top. Catering is in-house and pure vegetarian. Decide your function list before you ask for a number.
What is negotiable at Utsavaa?
Across Bangalore’s independent venues, the most movable lines in our experience are the date (weekday and off-season rates differ meaningfully from December weekends), scope bundling across functions, and — where catering is in-house — the menu construction within a tier. The rental headline moves less than couples expect; the surrounding lines move more.

Because you are not quoting the same thing twice. Utsavaa prices by how much of the 14-acre estate you take — a single courtyard for an intimate function sits at one end, the full property with the Vanessa Lawn, pavilion and courtyards at the other. From weddings we have budgeted here, ₹2–₹15 lakh per day is the honest band, and where you land in it is a design decision, not a negotiation outcome. Decide which functions need which spaces first; the price follows the map.
The venue spells it Utsavaa, with the double a, and every version you've seen in listings points to the same estate: off the Electronic City corridor on the Bommasandra side of south Bangalore. If your family and guests are in Koramangala, HSR, Sarjapur or anywhere along the tech belt, this is the grand-scale venue that doesn't ask them to drive to the other end of the city.
The venue's own map lists six settings: Vatsalyaa, built in the Nagara temple style, the Lotus Pavilion, Vanessa Lawn, Viraaj Courtyard, Vriksha Lawn, and a Ganesha temple on the property. That last one matters more than it sounds — a muhurtham with the temple on site changes the morning for the older generation. The Nagara-style Vatsalyaa takes the ceremony, the lawns take scale, and the courtyards take the daytime functions. The estate quotes capacity from 250 up to 5,000 guests depending on how many of those spaces you combine.
A four-acre parking area absorbs the arrival wave, which is the point where big south Bangalore weddings usually break. Because the six spaces are spread across 14 acres, a 500-guest wedding here runs closer to a campus than a hall: one function winds down in a courtyard while the lawn is being lit for the next.
Karnataka's noise rules end outdoor amplified sound at 10 pm statewide, and Utsavaa's lawns and courtyards are open-air. The venue's covered options are what carry a late programme, so put three things in writing before you sign: which indoor space your sangeet moves to after 10, the exact alcohol and menu policy for your functions, and the confirmed room count for your family — published figures for this venue vary, and the property opened in 2023, so policies are still settling. We ask these questions in the site visit; the answers go into your dossier.
Utsavaa is the newest entry in south Bangalore's grand-venue tier, and that is both the draw and the caveat. The draw: 2023-built infrastructure, which means power, kitchens and washrooms designed for today's wedding scale instead of retrofitted into a 90s convention hall — and a temple-style ceremony space that photographs like heritage without heritage-era plumbing. The caveat: a young venue's policies move. Rates, alcohol rules and room allocations here have shifted between listings, which is exactly why our budgets for Utsavaa are dated, itemised and re-confirmed with the venue before anything is signed. The Kishan & Inchara wedding in our journal shows what the stone temple mandap carries on a real wedding day.
The Utsavaa brief we hear most often from abroad is a specific one: a couple in the US or Europe whose parents live along the Electronic City–Sarjapur belt. Around 300 of our 500+ weddings have been planned with couples abroad, and the pattern for a venue like this is settled. We walk the estate on a live video call while you watch from your evening — the six spaces, the temple, the parking approach your guests will actually use. Your parents attend the physical site visit; you attend the same visit on video; the budget sits in our couple portal where both households read the same numbers. One India trip, scheduled around your leave, covers the tasting and the decor mockup. Payments run on milestones, on invoice, to one company — traceable end to end from your bank's side.
