How we would design a wedding at Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru
The banyan is the design and everything else should defer to it. A mature banyan's aerial roots read as architecture in their own right, so the mandap beneath it should be light, open and low: four slender uprights and a horizontal, not a solid structure, with the tree visible above and behind.
