Settle exclusivity before anything else. Royalton lets two weddings run at once, one on each lawn, and if you book only one the other can go to a different party. There are separate entrances, but in practice the two celebrations do conflict. If you want the property to yourself, book both lawns — and price that in from the start, because it changes the number substantially.
The two lawns are not interchangeable and the smaller one at ₹4.5 lakh is not simply a cheaper version of the larger at ₹7 lakh. Which one suits you is decided by your guest count and by whether the ballroom is carrying a function that day. And because lighting, sound and power all come from the same tied-in vendor, the technical design has to be agreed with them early — there is no second quote to fall back on.

Designed, not just planned
Two design constraints drive everything here. First, the tied lighting-and-sound vendor: agree the rig, the colour temperature and the generator load in the first site visit, because there is no second quote and no late substitution. Second, the eucalyptus canopy. It is beautiful and it eats light — uplighting the trunks reads far better than trying to wash the canopy, and any overhead floral has to be rigged off built structures, not off branches. The circular stage on Arya is fixed, so mandap design starts from that footprint rather than from a clean lawn. The Pavillion's tiled floor is the only place that takes a truss cleanly. For monsoon dates, the Java Hall is the honest backup for a 300-guest sit-down, not a marquee on a lawn the ground crew would have to fight.

November to February is the strong window for the lawns. June to September, plan the wedding around the Java Hall and treat the lawns as a bonus rather than the plan.
Arrival is off Bannerghatta Main Road, which backs up badly on weekday evenings from Hulimavu southward; a Saturday morning muhurtham is much kinder to guests driving from north Bangalore. Fifty-five rooms cover immediate family; the rest of an outstation guest list needs a hotel block closer to Hulimavu or JP Nagar.
